When my mother-in-law became unable to live alone, we looked at many places and decided on Savannah Court. We loved that it feels like a home but with her own 'apartment' so she has the best of both worlds. The director of sales and marketing, Tillie, was so helpful, made the move in process very easy, and is always available for any questions we have. She and all of the staff made my MI feel welcome and made sure she got to know the other residents. We have peace of mind knowing the staff checks on her and makes sure she eats and takes her medicine and that she is comfortable. We are very happy we chose Savannah Court.

My husband just left Savannah with a large fungal infection between his legs, due to constant exposure to a wet undergarment. Savannah Court of Brandon has had no dedicated housekeeper for at least 6 weeks. Families have not been informed. Care givers have been given the added responsibility to pick up the cleaning slack (without added compensation), at the expense of directly caring for and attending to the resident's needs. There is an unreasonable wait time to get support from care givers. Residents were left with nothing to do daily for over 1 month. Finally hired an Activity Director to fill up the long-vacant position. The job title implies there is a team, while in reality a single person is meant to keep residents active. Families were not informed of the staff deficiency for the duration of the vacancy. Even when the position was filled there are no organized weekend activities, although the activity calendar showed otherwise. Resident’s rooms often found filthy, with piles of laundry on the floor, beds covered with soiled linen, and carpet stained. Staff made unprofessional characterizations of residents on the phone. Care givers bossed around and argued with residents. Staff turn over is very frequent. New Director appears to have blind eyes and deaf ears to complains. Complaining to the corporate office, going over the Director's head, is useless. The Corporate office is driven by profits and the new Director is their useful tool. The Director often sends glossy emails to families that portray the facility as a good place, with a great team of professionals, which defies the grim daily reality and actual living conditions in the facility. Savannah Court of Brandon ALF was once a good place for our loved ones. Sadly (and dangerously) it has been downgraded under the new administration.
I had the pleasure of working with Tillie Brickner and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Tillie took the time to understand our needs and preferences, patiently answered all our questions, and provided support every step of the way. I highly recommend Tillie and Savannah Court to any family in need of Assisted Living!
We are very pleased with the people and the facility. It is clean, has a cozy home feel along with a fancy hotel look. The caregivers are very good as well as the medical staff. My mom is comfortable and loves the garden. The new management is doing a great job improving the atmosphere, from new and improved food service to hiring a new activities director and hosting periodic fun celebrations for the residents and their families.
Savannah Court of Brandon is an awesome place. The Executive Director is a kind and loving person who actually cares and loves her residences. They keep the place very clean and care for those that live there. The food is prepared daily as if it was being prepared for their own family. If I needed an assisted living place this is where I would want to be.
