I originally volunteered at SAAL as a Girl Scout trying to complete my Gold Award. I had the best time creating a garden in the back patio and working with the staff/residents. After completing my Gold Award, I discovered a deep fondness for SAAL. My high school experiences, both volunteering and visiting, were so incredible that I still cherish coming in whenever I can as a college student. Even though I don’t need to complete any service hours or projects I still love to come volunteer and visit. I hope to keep volunteering here for as long as I can! :)

Santa Anita Assisted Living looks to be overall a great facility for seniors. My only concern is the night crew at the front desk! I know first hand the receptionist that works at night leaves for hours at a time to go to the park across the street and/or God knows where and still getting paid! This is a Code Of Conduct issue that puts all senior residence at risk for possible hazards and danger! It's unprofessional to leave knowing that most accidents and danger type situations occur during nighttime hours! Whoever is in charge should address this matter with tact in order to ensure all safety of all senior residence at this facility!
This place is very welcoming. I came to visit many times and the workers were nice and calm. Definitely consider this place if you are looking at assisted living facilities.
We love how Anna, Cynthia, Alex, Norma -and Marco of SARC look out for our precious beloved Mother, Auntee, and grandma. The facility is well maintained and all the residents are thoroughly looked after with the utmost of dignity care and respect. We appreciate the team.
The facility is beautifully maintained and offers a warm, welcoming environment. The staff are incredibly caring and attentive, making sure every resident feels valued and supported. I loved volunteering here and doing painting lessons with the residents. There is a sense of community here and the bond between staff and residents is truly incredible. So happy to make a positive impact on the lives of these residents!
