This is what my mother said about Sans Souci: It’s an excellent place and all the nurses and CNAs are amazing. I want to give a special shout-out to Doris, Marcia,Carmen, Fifi, Tracyann, and Lidia. The therapy treats me amazing and Nana, Kaana are the best! I want to add it's a home away from home and me as a daughter am always comfortable with my mother here and I can go home without worryingabout her. I thank everyone here! Danerika always does a great job with everything! I highly recommend Sans Souci!

The nurses on the first floor are really good and Carmen gave me a shower when I needed one. They always keep the place warm and heated. The therapy is great and Jag really helped me a lot and got me walking, we ride the bike and he got me walking. The coffee from the kitchen is great and I go down every morning to get some. Hilda and Omar from Recreation are really fun and I love to play bingo! Dr. Rabaddi is my Dr. and really helped me a lot.
I was recently visiting at the Sans Souci facility and was extremely impressed by the warm and welcoming environment of entire staff. Upon entry I was greeted by the concierge team and felt very comfortable. I had a chance to chat with the various staff and department managers who were all very informative and showed a real sense of pride in the facility and their commitment. I was even more impressed by the aesthetics of the facility. Specifically the warm and classy lobby appeal and first floor design. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a rehab or long term care option in Yonkers.
I really like the way that everyone cares about the patients. They treat them really kind and compassionate. Sans Souci focuses on working towards discharging safely. They are not trying to keep the residents to able to collect insurance money. My family member has been here 3 times and each time I see the progress being done and she went home safely.
My mother in-law stayed here for a few months. I wouldn’t suggest this location for several reasons. Starting with the food. All the food served is frozen food served. Not sure why there is a “cook” or a “chef” because every meal is a tv dinner. In no way can that be healthy for the residents, beside it being horrible to the taste and sometimes hard or tough in texture. We were told the nursing home can take care of the transport home. Upon calling and asking about transporting my mother in-law home and what that looks like, the response was not a response to my question but a rant about Medicaid or Medicare, money, funding… when all along the question was simply, “what does it look like for them to transfer her home”, “what is the process?” We were looking to pay for the transport if they were going to transport and settle her in. We didn’t ask about Medicaid or the like. Then when I pointed out that to question hadn’t been answered after responding multiple times. Desmond rudely spoke over both my wife and I, continued to be defensive, and continued to speak over the both of us as the call went on. We wound up ending the phone call without any questions being answered, offended, and unsatisfied. I’ve personally never met or spoken to anyone in a professional position such as his that did not listen, responded to what he thought he wanted us to know, and rudely and unprofessionally continued to cut us off throughout the phone call.
