I'm a member of the San Leandro Art association. We have been pleased to have paintings from members of our association hanging at the senior center for all to enjoy. They're also available for purchase. While at the center, we have been treated very respectfully and have felt very welcome there. Also while there, I have noticed the substantial number and variety of classes and events that are posted/offered. The space is clean and pleasant, the staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
Celebrated my Mom's 100th birthday on Sat. The Center is closed on the weekend so there was plenty of parking. The room was excellent, large kitchen, guest capacity 120..price was just right..professional/friendly staff..rented space for 6 hours..will rent space again in the future
I was meeting a client here to discuss his Medicare options. What a great place for seniors. Its big and has a lot of different activities. I was there mid afternoon and it was packed. We met in a nice little room that had a few tables and a TV. Lots of windows and natural light. There was another table full with people doing some sort of activity. I will definitely recommend this community center as a meeting place for future clients in the area.
