the staff at Royalton are like family & treat dad like family, they are so supportive & actually caring. They give him his privacy but are there to help when he needs it. The food is always good with multiple options each meal. The carpeting could be replaced & shows it's wear but you can see the cleaning staff work to keep it at it's best.

Our father moved into the Royalton in September of 2023. It is hard for anyone to move from their home of 40 years. The entire staff at the Royalton has made his transition a caring and friendly experience. Always a smile with personal hellos. I have found the staff to be informative and easy to work with. The facility is small enough to give that personal feeling and large enough to have a good foundation.
I realize that 5 stars is perfection but I will stand by this review because - although no one can ever truly be perfect - it is definitely possible to get very close. Beginning with the friendly voices that answer the phone (Susie and Sandy!) that set the tone, to the dining staff that takes extra care of my mother's special dietary wants (i.e. hot peppers and salsa) and the care staff that treat Mom with the utmost care and respect even with the smallest things, this is a great place for my mother to age in place for her remaining years. Thank you isn't enough but maybe this review will let others considering Royalton Place discover this gem in the heart of Milwaukie, Oregon.
I don't care what you read or what someone's past experience was. No assistant living or memory care facility is 100% perfect. What matters the most is the love and care that the staff gives my parents each and every day. Making sure they are safe and cared for. The laughter and joy I see & experience when I walk in the facility. From the front desk staff, the dinning room staff and residents that live there. Everyone is family to me. The caregivers are very intuned to the needs of the residents and will go out of their way to make sure their needs for the day are meet. Bottom line is this. I can go to bed at night and not worry about my parents. Their needs are meet and they are safe and happy. All thanks to the staff at Royalton.
Been working the front desk almost 3 years the relationships I've built at Royalton are a huge blessing in my life! Of course not everyday is perfect but staff is passionate about the residents and cares. Most staff will.go above and beyond for residents and their families
