After visiting several skilled nursing facilities in and around the Matthews area, we chose Royal Park for our mother. And, we are so thankful. Our mother was not easy to deal with while she adjusted to the inpatient setting, but the staff was patient and understanding. They were kind and thorough, in her treatment plan. They kept us informed and involved. She stayed for almost a month, during June 2024, and everyone was just amazing. I cannot thank them enough!

Came for a quick visit. Upon entering, the receptionist was super polite and friendly and let us know where to go. We had to sign in first. Place looked very clean and easy to navigate with a lot of signs, letting you know where to go. Everything was decorated in St. Patty's decor and it felt very lively inside as other families were visiting and they were having a great time. Any of the staff we spoke to was always friendly and helpful. Facility was very welcoming.
Luckey the receptionist makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk into the building. She is very helpful and always has a beautiful smile. Royal Park and Rehabilitation is very clean and easy to navigate with signs directing you. The staff were attentive to the residents and interacting with them. I highly recommend this facility.
We are so thankful for Royal Park of Matthew's Rehabilitation for helping our father get back into shape. I went to look at this facility for rehab for my husband. The front desk gal took me on a tour and it looked decent. I asked if they had ample staff and she assured me they did and they were very attentive. Food was so so as she said everyone had different taste. I spoke to a gentleman who came to visit his wife. He said it was his third time being there and the first two times he gave them an A+ this time he gave them an F. He also said his wife had waited as much as 2 hours to have them answer the call bell I had given the front desk girl my name and number for Amelia to call me to discuss this and didn’t get a call . As I was leaving I spoke with another gentleman who was visiting his father. His father had only been there 5 days. When he arrived the room smelled so bad he used a whole can of Lysol to make it smell better The recliner in the room was filthy and stained. He showed me a picture he had taken. He went out and bought a cover for the chair. My stomach turned thinking I had almost told the hospital to bring him there. If you are thinking of a rehab facility for a loved one do yourself a favor and go check it out and talk to the patient or their family before committing to send them there It was a real eye opener
