Royal Oaks is a gift to the Northwest Georgia region. Walking in feels good. The residents and staff are all kind and welcoming. It is safe. The apartments are lovely. The food is great. There are plenty of activities. The grounds are beautiful. My Mother moved in recently and loves her new home and community.

Royal Oaks is truly amazing and we are blessed to have this facility in our community. We took a tour of the apartments and thought independent living was the place that my parents should live so that they could be close by. They love their 2 bedroom apartment that faces the woods and they enjoy time on the screened balcony watching the squirrels and birds. Their neighbors are friendly and the staff is outstanding. The meals are delicious and they are enjoying the one level (no steps or stairs) in their apartment. Many amenities are offered at Royal Oaks and I think they will be enjoying those too as they get settled in. If you have a need to secure a place for aging parents, so that they can still maintain their independence, then Royal Oaks is the place to check out. My parents are amazed at how all of their doctors are close by and how impressive medical campus is. Director Toni Thompson helped us answer all of their questions before they made the decision to move, and the whole team at Royal Oaks are friendly and professional.
My mom moved to Royal Oaks in September 2019. She was ready to downsize and not have to worry about the upkeep of a house and yard. She has enjoyed being independent with the luxury of having meals, weekly cleaning service, and planned events on and off campus. The staff members are kind, helpful, and always ready to assist when needed. Thank you for providing a safe, loving community for residents.
Royal Oaks is a fantastic place for senior adults that are tired of the burdens of their own home and the solitude that can go with that. This is a place where the staff knows the residents and goes above and beyond their duty to help them feel at home. This is true for the independent living side, as well as the assisted living facility. We recently experienced the transition from independent to assisted living at Royal Oaks, and the staff could not have been more helpful or caring before, during, and after the transition.
Great staff- super helpful- they go out of their way to make the residents feel at home and comfortable! They keep the resident’s family informed and are easily accessible by phone and text. Food is good and meets dietary needs of the residents. We are so pleased that our parents made the decision to make Royal Oaks their home!
