My Dad was admitted to Royal after a catastrophic fall and it was determined he could no longer be in assisted living. He is happy at Royal and the nurses and aides have been taking excellent care of him. Amanda does a great job and has been good at communicating with me. The PT department was very good with him and now we are getting to know the hospice caregivers. It is a little tough to get through on the phone when needed but we realize how busy they are. Dad’s only complaint is the food. Hopefully changes can be made to improve that situation. Housekeeping staff are very pleasant, hard working, and always helpful We knew Terry before we came to Royal and she is an excellent advocate for my Dad. Thank you to all

My mom has been admitted to this facility a few times. All of the staff was incredible. From administration to CNAs, Nurses, activities, to the rehab department. Nurses on unit were very informative and accommodating. All staff members were so kind and made her visit very pleasant. She came home stronger and happier than ever. A big plus was that they allowed us to bring her dog which was so nice because it kept my mother’s spirits up during her recovery. Thank you Royal of Falmouth. Keep doing what you’re doing!
My 97 year old mother in law was at Royal for short term rehab last month. Let me start by saying June Brenner, the Receptionist, and overall Welcoming Committee was wonderful! She welcomed us with open arms, and was always there when we needed anything. My mother in law was scared to be there, but June went out of her way to make sure she had the food she liked and the extended comfort she needed. We have since brought her home with us, and June followed up to make sure she is doing well. I can't say enough about the warmth and compassion they showed! Gwyn B
My dear friend of thirty-eight years was admitted to the rehab unit and I applaud the staff for the great care they gave her. The care she received was beyond exceptional. Nurses aides on the unit often sat with her and gave her emotional support. The certified nurses aides at Royal go beyond their duties of bathing, dressing, and assisting residents to the bathroom. They really care about the people in the nursing home. I also am grateful to the housekeeping staff who maintained the cleanliness of her room. They are so friendly and one can see the pride they take in their work. The rehab department is fabulous. They are truly team players. Often physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists are there to assist with the care of the residents in any way they can. They give new meaning to "quality of care". It is refreshing to observe the various departments working together. The staff on the dementia unit are special people. They treat the residents like family. It warms the heart to see the smiles on residents' faces when staff interacts with them. Royal has remained current in modern healthcare. Just taking care of medical needs is not enough. Every week a group of therapy dogs arrive for visitation with the residents. One can see the joy that flows through the nursing home on pet therapy day. At Royal Nursing Center, Residents come first!
My wife has been well cared for here for two and a half years, and I spent a month here for rehab. As with most nursing homes around here, they share the same problems with providing adequate staff. There are many nurses, CNA’s and other ancilllary staff who have been working here for many years. I find them all to be caring, compassionate and patient with the residents. My wife is on very restrictive diet that the kitchen staff takes into account when preparing her meals. I visit my wife every day and I have an upfront view of how well the staff works together.
