I have experienced many of the facilities around town and by far The Atrium is the best I have found. I live 7 hours away from my Dad so feeling confident he is well cared for is priceless! From the nurses and aides, to physical therapy and activities, I feel everyone treats him like family. The dining experience is top notch! I can rest knowing my loved one is safe and clean and cared for with dignity and patience.

Royal Atrium Inn has been amazing! Our loved one is cared for everyday with grace and love. From our first contact, through move-in, and now her continued care, everyone at RAI is kind and helpful. We are so thankful for their professionalism and couldn't be happier with the care our loved one receives.
Three years ago I moved my Mom to the Royal Atrium Inn after researching most of the assisted living options in the West Michigan area. It was the best decision we could have made. Immediately she has been made to feel at home and comfortable in her new surroundings after having lived alone for the last 30 years. The personal care has been outstanding and we receive regular updates on her physical status. She tells everyone how happy she is and blessed to be there.
My mother lived at Royal Park Place over two years and was extremely happy there. Then she had a small stroke and moved to RAI for rehab. We assumed she would move back to her apartment but Covid hit and we decided she would be safer at RAI. The staff was wonderful! They took excellent care of her and moved all her furnishing out of the apartment to her new room at RAI. Sadly a year later her health declined. The staff was so caring, thoughtful and helpful in the final days of her life. They were a godsend.
My father has lived at the Royal Park Atrium for 3 ½ years and today he feels quite at home there. Twice he has needed short hospitalizations and a stint at a rehab facility but Royal Park always held his room for him. For the last 10 months I have only been able visit him through his window, but nevertheless I have gotten to know many of staff even if they are just eyes behind a mask. I am so grateful to Jeff Zlylstra for his careful management of the virus. The restrictions have been hard for us, and we rely on dad’s cell phone so much more, but the policies have worked. Relative to what we hear on the news about other senior living facilities, it is amazing to me that Royal Park Atrium has had almost no virus. I have especially come to appreciate and respect the nursing staff that is always, personable, caring and available.
