I Started Working At Rose And The Caregivers On Night Shift Are TERRIBLE! My 1st Night Nobody Trained Me Also Watched A Resident Cry And Continued To Have Side Conversations. I Walked Out My First Night On The Job ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!
After less than one month at rose our family moved to my husend back home from rose senior living. Among several issues the main concern was the staff's apparent lack of training in how to give a shower to someone with limited mobility. Consequently despite several requests, my husband when for 8 days without a full shower. The cleanliness in the bathroom was uneven with wet wash clothes and hand towels On the floor and the commode one day was so dirty that it cannot be described in this review. This facility It is beautiful but terribly understaffed. Although my husband had been assessed as needing assistance from two aides to stand and transition from the bed or a Chair to his wheelchair on some nights, only one aid was available and we were told that other aides were too busy with other residents. Because we were paying for a higher level of care above and beyond the rent, this situation in my view was unsafe and unsatisfactory. My husband had three skin tears on his legs as a result. One night his help alert button worn on his wrist was missing. A very nice nurse made inquiries and found that the help button had not been functioning and was taken for repairs. Although it was supposed to have been returned right away, it instead had been locked up and was unavailable. Since my husband would have no way to call for help if needed, I was told that the night staff would check on him every hour. I needless to say our family would not recommend Rose Senior Living.
After extensive research and a number of in-person visits, our family decided on Rose Senior Living in Beachwood as the right match for our mother. Sarah made a stressful situation much more comfortable. Upon move-in we discovered that we made the right decision with no regrets. The staff is wonderful, kind and helpful. Tiffany at the front desk is always ready to help. The residents have made this location into a real community. This place checks all the boxes.
Rose Senior Living-Beachwood is great! Great staff come from solid hiring practices, onboarding, training, support and a commitment to 5-star quality service. The leadership at Rose are committed to the care and concern for their residents. My family experienced a challenge with our mom's move-in experience, and the staff at Rose, "rose to the challenge" and assisted my mom by going beyond the call of their duty to make sure that my mom was taken care of and that she had a positive move-in experience. All of the staff are very gracious, professional, welcoming and courteous. The services and activities they offer certainly meet our needs. Of all of the senior communities we visited, we came back to Rose Senior Living as our choice. Kudos to the leadership and staff at Rose! Keep up the good work and excellence in service!
