Went to visit a friend who is a new resident. Lovely place . Nice staff. From what I've seen so far I'm impressed. Has a lovely coffee shop, physio and a physio gym, small movie theatre, pretty good food. If it lives up to expectations wouldn't mind going there when it's my turn.🤗

Excellent place. The staff are warm, friendly and attentive to the residences. The meals are terrific and beautifully prepared. The best place I have seen in Brisbane.

Rockpool Carseldine is brand new 5 star aged care facility at Carseldine, Australia. It has 5 level and located just in front of Carseldine railway station
My mum was in Rockpool from when they opened in August 2023 until July 2024. In this time, she deteriorated and became extremely aggressive, it was a very stressful time. She ended up in hospital and I in turn put her into a new aged care facility. Might not be as new and flash but the care is there. Turns out when she is medicated daily, she is a different person and has not had one aggressive episode in 8 months. For the amount charged at this facility, they can afford to pay more specialised dementia staff, especially in the secure dementia wing. It would have saved me and my mum a lot of stress and heartache.
