We are so pleased and grateful to the staff at Rockland Place! When our parents moved in (2021) they were in a quiet apartment and the staff kept an extra eye on them as our mom has dementia. After our dad died, they were supportive and caring as we figured out the safest way to continue Mom’s care. I am quickly notified of any medical issues, all 3 of us are alerted to any changes/concerns/happy events, and my brother receives clear financial invoices each month. Any one of us is welcomed to visit at any time, and our mom is always clean and neat (she needs staff assistance for almost everything at this point). As a health care provider myself, I fully appreciate the work that goes into providing this level of quality care.
I can’t say enough about the caring staff at Rockland! Every time I come in I’m greeted by tons of smiles and friendly faces! The residence’s are always engaged with activities and tons of socialization, such a great community! Highly recommend. You guys ROCK at Rockland.
Rockland Place continues to be The Best place for my mother for over one year now! The staff are caring and comforting to my mom, as well as kind and friendly!! I want to mention Carolyn who takes care of the greeting desk when you enter the community! I have observed her in action with residents, and she is Excellent at her job!! She works with joy as she interacts and helps in this assisted living environment, and that’s exactly what is needed for these aging residents. Thank You, Carolyn!!!
A big decision and logistical undertaking in moving our beautiful 92 year young Auntie from an eldercare residential community in Princeton, NJ -- to Rockland Place in Wilmington, DE was made comforting and extraordinarily easy by the wonderful staff. On the day of the move, Marie Velazquez greeted us at front door with a warm and welcoming smile. She is an all-world Director of Sales and much more. The medical team was gentle, gracious, professional and efficient in conducting their assessment of our Auntie upon our arrival. And Paul Taylor, Executive Director capped off the first few hours of our arrival with a personal welcome. We are very lucky to have our Auntie residing at this facility.
