The Rochester Presbyterian Home has been a great experience for me and my mother. The home has met all my mother needs with 24 hour care. I feel my mother is in a good and safe place. The staff and administration is great, professional, experienced in memory care and attentive to all my family and mother concerns. The RPH is open to me and my family 24 hour a day to visit or check on my mother and she always been safe and the building is secured. I think what the Rochester Presbyterian Home give me is a peace of mind in regards to my mom.

The Rochester Presbyterian Home is a true home. My mom lived here in memory care for 8 years. As her dementia slowly progressed over this time it was clear to us that she always felt safe and content. The care staff treated her with love and dignity while always allowing her the opportunity to be involved in her own daily care. While mom was more of an "observer", the staff encouraged her join in the many activities offered each day. At RPH, it was evident to us that ALL levels of staff were equally committed to the care of all the elders. Our family would eagerly recommend this wonderful homelike place.
My mother, aged 90, has a long term relationship with Rochester Presbyterian Home. She served on the Service Board for 25 years. During her time on that board, she only had positive things to share about the care level and the people at RPH. Imagine our delight to be greeted, in a very personal way, on the morning she arrived as a resident Elder by the Executive Director who worked with Mom during her time on the Service Board. My Mom feels very connected into her new life at Rochester Presbyterian Home. She is an excellent spokesperson for all the wonderful aspects of living at RPH. I am so happy with the fact that I can contact RPH with questions I may have at any time, day or night. The caring staff is always there for me with a prompt response. Mom and I speak often about how lucky we are to have Rochester Presbyterian Home for her care plan. It has been a great fit!
My father and my mother-in law both currently live in and are loved by the Rochester Presbyterian Home. I cannot say enough good things about RPH! Between our elderly parents, we have experienced 5 other assisted living facilities. My father was in 2 in NJ before moving up here and my mother-in-law tried 3 others before this one. She had temporary stays in some of the most exclusive facilites in Pittsford, and while staff was nice everywhere, only at RPH has she experienced a home. My father is Catholic and attends mass in their on-site chapel. There are weekly Presbyterian services as well. A non-religious person could live here and feel completely comfortable, as nothing is pushed, only available (though it is decorated for Christian holidays). We recently experienced Chistmas there and learned that the staff purchased gifts for all of the residents and had Santa and Mrs Claus stop by to deliver them on Christmas morning. The facilities are beautiful, the price is extremely reasonable, and the staff are all wonderful!
My Mom recently moved into RPH and my family and I could not be more delighted. Mom was warmly welcomed. She still wants to go back to her house but everyone is so kind and comforting and engaging that she often calls RPH home now. The Family Care Guide even sends me email updates when I travel. My Mom could not be at a better place.
