My mother and family have worked and stayed at riverwalk. And I feel like its in the public's interest to know that my disabled mother and handicap mother that is on medical leave and has worked there for years was treated poorly and was even reminded that they could just term her. This is the head women that runs the nursing home. So how much do you think they care about your family if they dont even care about there employee's. When you call and ask a question or the status of FMLA you get told well remember we could just term you. Remember these little things when you choose to put your family in this place. Its disgusting how they treat there employee's so imagine what they do to residents behind closed doors. You should be ashamed. My mother was in the hospital for a week just last week and you didn't even ask how are you doing, did you V! Im not calling anyone to be talked down to and neither is my mom just do better.

This place can't keep help, see daily hiring posts online. Stay away from this place. Doesn't deserve a one but it won't post without something.
GOOD, NOT GREAT It's obvious, that not everyone receives the same level of care at this facility. They have five star reviews and they have one star reviews. Also, there may be a difference of opinion depending on nursing care versus rehabilitation care. I was here for rehabilitation after major surgery, and for me, it was a mix of good and... not so good. The night nurse was so sweet, that I gave her a thank you card and had her sign my heart pillow. The daytime nurse could have had a little bit better bedside manner. The food has to be bland because of the healthier dietary needs of older people. As a younger patient, when I couldn't eat something, they were nice enough to make me a cheeseburger and fries! Luckily, I didn't need their attention other than being fed, medicines, and physical therapy, mostly. For physical therapy, they don't know what your body can handle, so if you need to do more, just ask. 👍 I only have two real complaints about this place. When I was brought here by ambulance, no one greeted us, & when we found my room, (with the wrong name on the outside), the nice young ladies from the ambulance are the ones who helped me get situated. It was a couple hours before anyone came to wake me up speak with me. When you're in a new place you've never been before, it's nice to be welcomed a little more, to put one more at ease. Also, my room was right next to the nurses station, and all night, every night, it sounded like they were having a party out there. Most people were friendly, but a few needed to work on their kindness. ❤️
Please do your research before sending your loved ones to this facility. If you are a caregiver or have power of attorney over your loved one, you will have to become the biggest “Karen” imaginable just so they are giving the care that your loved one deserves. I had my dad stay at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville for short term rehabilitation after a total knee replacement surgery. These people would not follow doctor orders. They left my dad in urine soaked bedding and clothes for hours and would not clean his room or bathroom. I believe that’s a health code violation. Also some of the people who work at this facility are extremely unprofessional. The management will lie to your face and you will have to come over multiple times daily just to make sure that your loved on is taken care of. They gave my dad’s ice pack for his knee to control swelling to another patient to use and it had my dad’s name on it. Ridiculous! I will say that his social worker, Bryndie and RN Margaret were very nice and helpful. I’m pretty sure that the “5 Star” reviews are from employees. This is definitely not a “5 Star” facility.
My grandmother was 92 years old with advanced dementia. We knew at some point she might need to transition to a nursing facility. This facility came highly recommended by HATS memory care. I kept in touch for over a year with the facility until it was time to transition her. We kept her home with us until a few weeks before she passed away. She was hospitalized with a GI bleed and we needed nursing assistance and 24 hour care. Allie was a key person in getting my grandmother all set up with her move in. All the staff was so nice, the building is immaculate and smelled clean. The proper PPE was provided for us when we visited. We had a very unique and time sensitive situation regardless family and we felt my grandmother was safe and well understood there. The director Brian was very informative helping us navigate through COVID-19 guidelines and hospice when it came to visits. My grandmothers skin was well taken care of they put her gowns and socks I had for her on. She always looked nice and I was thankful that they took extra care just l did at home. This is a trustworthy nursing facility that felt like family in the short time she was there. Thank you so much for all of your support and caring gestures. Angel
