River Ridge is a special place with a staff that is both professional and friendly. I am always amazed at how everyone who works at the facility knows my mother by name. A special thanks to Jennifer for the promises made and promises kept. Another special thanks to Tim who takes care of any special things that my mother needs. My mother raves about the food, the level of attention is fantastic and reassuring to any family member knowing that your loved one is checked on throughout the day. The activities and special events are truly something to look forward to each and every day. I cannot say enough good things about River Ridge and would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a facility for their family or friend.

My experience with River Ridge, and Jennifer English in particular, has been excellent. It is a very warm and caring facility and Jennifer has competently and kindly guided me through the whole difficult process. They have more than met our needs and u feel very comfortable having a loved one in their care. And Jennifer remains ever responsive and helpful to my many phone calls!
My Aunt needed a memory care facility. River ridge was suggested. I couldn't be happier for her. They assessed her. Accepted her very quickly after her hospital stay. The process of the application was very well explained. Each department made a great effort to make things as simple as possible . My Aunt has no family close by but River ridge community makes her feel as though they are her family.
Everyone I have met at River Ridge is Avon is friendly and helpful. Carol and Sheron at the front desk are always smiling and greet me so warmly when I come in. Keisha, the mind and memory director is always always there for her residents sbd families.
My mother-in-law moved into this facility today. She is thrilled with her new apartment; it is so bright and welcoming! Our family joined her for dinner tonight, and the food was absolutely delicious! Omar, the Dining Room Manager, was super pleasant and very accommodating! Bill, their maintenance man, was also cheerful and very efficient, by even hanging my mother-in-law’s curtains and pictures today! The facility is very clean and a pleasure to walk through; it is in tip top shape. It looks like a large home with beautiful porches and court yards. Cannot wait to see it decorated at Christmas time!
