I have visited my Aunt the past 2 weeks and I am so impressed with Riverpointe. There is such a positive atmosphere the minute you walk in the door. The staff and residents are all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. You hear laughter and happy conversation. The building is beautiful and brightly decorated. The room and sitting rooms are bright and cheerful. What a wonderful place.

What a gorgeous building and invested staff you have there. Today, I toured during your Oscar’s event and your team was prepped and ready. Your residents were leaving the beauty shop and looking red carpet ready. Great job❤️
My sister has happily resided at River Pointe for 5 years. She is happy and this makes us happy. She loves her staff and kitchen staff so much, she is a joker and they all joke with her regularly. I love that she jas friends and the staff call me by name. Great place.
My mother-in-law was in River Pointe on Galaxy Drive in Evansville twice in 2024 for rehabilitation from a fall. In January she transitioned into assisted living. She really enjoyed the food and activities and made some new friends. She looked forward to going to the dining room to eat her meals and playing bingo. The staff was always helpful.
My stepdad was suffering from Dementia and Parkinson. He care was sad at River Pointe!! Our family was private pay and we would find him not bathed, not helping to feed him, not getting him drink/s, not carefully handling him with his broken bicep (that we has serveral notes around the room about). Not changing his "depends" in a timely manner, hence why it would be dried to him or completely wet all the way through, then rashes/sores. We/mom decided to move him to another wing that was to be better attention/better care for him compared to upstairs, NOT True!! He couldn't get to his food nor to his mouth, or get to the moveable table. if my mom or sister wasn't there, he didn't get fed nor drink. The body requires water!!! My grandmother passed away at 95 and in a nursing home and didn't look anything like my stepdad. His eyes were so sunken and face was hollow. All the family lives out of town/state and our mom needed quality help.... Wow, not here but she couldn't find other option and stressed out. Our stepdad was a Veteran.... Sad this is how he was treated/handled for someone that served our country 3 tours.. Then when he needs help, can't seem to get even when you private pay.. They called in hospice and then really didn't do much to help our stepdad, reminder still paying privately?. Literally my sister walked in to his room and found food on moveable table and it was warm, you could smell it and wasn't even close to his bed, but mind you he couldn't move and was stiffing up and couldn't get any drink or food to his mouth without help. Nobody there to help feed him and or give him drink/s!! Want to talk about CRUELTY?. See it, smell it, want it and cant get it.. Literally he was starved out!! Wow, this is what mom paid for?. Yet we were scared he would lean forward and fall out of the wheelchair on his head, yet we were told they couldn't strap him in because that is considered CRUELTY???... I question this craziness.. I wish I could show you pictures, he was always joking, laughing, smiling and positive disposition.. If you don't care, then fine, leave your family member there.. But if you care, I would be on top of it or consider not leaving your loved on here at River Pointe.
