My sister Regina Duplantis has been a resident here for about 3 years. EVERYONE here has been so kind, helpful and friendly to her and the other residents. Today they had a crayfish boil and some of the workers there actually peeled the crayfish for some of the residents who were physically unable to peel them. That there is a real labor of love. River Oaks has many social activities and fun things for the residents to take part in. . I wish I could remember some of the names of the employees at this time to publicly recognize them but I can't. One I do remember is a nursing assistants named Sunshine. She along with the other employees are super nice and professional. Our family is so grateful for River Oaks.
Poor customer service. Mickey or something like that. She didnt even say her name clearly. Very rude, short, and not helpful. Got "disconnected"/hung up on twice. The receptionists were very nice and pleasant. Were kind enough to transfer it back. But beware, I was asking a simple question and she started acting suspicious. If this is how they treat a call for more information. I wouldnt trust them with a loved one. I would not recommend.
Horrible place!!!.... My uncle was here only 3 weeks!!!!CNAs get treated like peasants from administration!,The residents have barley any freedom or could keep any of their personal belongings @ arrival and the damn housekeepers steal EVERYTHING!!!!
I have a family member there who has been there many years.......very satisfied the nursing staff is well liked
