this is a wonderful Gated Retirement community with lots of amenities for the ambulatory residents however once you need more assistance or need the skilled nursing care it is not so good. there is not enough help and some of the staff lack proper training especiall in feeding an at risk for choking patient. i have notice 1 staff member feeding 5-6 patients at a time. they are very nice but just so short staffed that patients wait a long time for call bells. my mother will be moved out once she reaches this stage.

My parents have been staying at River Landing for over 5 months now. I cannot tell you how impressed I've been with the level of their care. The entire staff is devoted to giving genuine care to each of their patients every day. The peace of mind that this gives our family is impossible to put a price on. Caring for people in this stage of their lives is not an easy task. I would highly encourage anyone to put their loved one in their care.
My wife and I were convinced of the benefits of living at a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) because of positive experiences both of our mothers had. We set forth to find the best CCRC in the Greensboro, NC area. Our research and onsite visits took us to River Landing in 2017 when we became Residents of the Future. Between that time and 2023, Betsy Seaton and others in the Marketing Office maintained contact with us and provided opportunities for us to meet residents and ask questions. In 2023 we were ready to move and attended a very helpful moving seminar and began planning to move. In late 2023 we were offered and accepted a residence that met all of our wishes. In the spring of 2024 we made the move and have now been at River Landing almost two months. We could not be happier. River Landing has met or exceeded all of our expectations. We have met so many new friends in a short amount of time and the staff is exceptional in every area. Betsy Seaton and Michaella Crouse provided invaluable assistance in the move in process. Others on the staff quickly did such things as mounting our TVs on the wall, getting us hooked up to the internet and streaming services, etc. We didn't have to do a thing. The food at River Landing is exceptional with six dining venues to chose from. The golf course, gym and pool provide a variety of exercise opportunities. The activities seem endless. You won't be bored here. We highly recommend River Landing as the best choice in the Triad.
My parents live here and I have had the opportunity to eat with them many times! They are blessed to be there and the food is always wonderful! (Wish I could retire there but won't be financially available for me! 😢)
A+ in every category. Top to bottom. Entry fee eliminates 95%+ of most of the population. But again, exquisite food, housing, employees, housing, etc. If you can afford it, do it!
