I have been visiting River Glen for almost 20 years in various capacities. I love every visit! The staff is so welcoming and receptive from Trish at the front desk to Kelly the Director, the residents, and even maintenance. I love to see the many staff that have been there for years, with little turnover. They are doing all the right things! Great job River Glen!

I have toured River Glen & attended the annual ice cream social. My sister has worked there for several years so I am more aware of what the community of River Glen has to offer. The facility is welcoming, beautiful apartments (love the screened in porches & gardens!) and most important the staff goes above and beyond to provide a safe and warm environment for all of their residents. They provide many activities for the residents & their families to enjoy throughout the year. Sometimes when I am meeting my sister after work and I arrive before she can leave, I love sitting in the common area by the front entrance and chatting w/ the residents. I can tell they really like where they live & are very happy @ River Glen.
Turns out, assisted living establishments like these can be nothing more than a scam. The Attorney General of Illinois should step in and investigate for what appears to be breach of contract & fraud. At the very least, what appears to be misrepresentation of a contract. I'm an amateur investor and will be on the lookout to stay away from private equity firms like Jaybird Capital, Jaybird Senior Living & Citrine Investment Group. Do your homework. Have your contract checked out by an attorney before signing. There should be change in ownership or control clauses that protect you and your original investment via contract. This review based on NBC Nightly News story this evening, March 28, 2025. Even though I have no affiliation with this organization, stories like these need to be told, need to be heard. Poor treatment of the elderly is an issue we must all deal with as we many of us have aging parents.
River Glen of St Charles is a beautiful independent & assisted living senior community I had the pleasure of touring! I took my aunt there for a delicious lunch and we met with the very friendly staff. We picked out an absolutely beautiful townhome for my aunt after we met with the activity director, Karen and sales director, Claudine. They were both so kind and my aunt knew she would be comfortable and happy there after downsizing from her home after my uncle passed away recently. The townhomes are luxurious, and my aunt loves the sense of community it provides. She has already met some of her friendly neighbors. I love the fact she will receive help with maintenance as well. This gem is nestled in a beautiful setting close to my home and I feel a sense of relief for my aunt as I met the kind and caring staff and residents at River Glen of St Charles. Definitely 5 stars!!
River Glen of St. Charles is a beautiful community, the residents and staff are welcoming and friendly. I toured the beautiful community the other day and my favorite part of the tour was the homes they are beautiful and HUGE for family gatherings during the holidays, the community has Independent living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. I would highly recommend River Glen of St. Charles.
