I was satisfied with the location & accomodations of Rise Life Services. I especially liked the fact that the parking lot there is visible from the waiting room inside the building. The people there are competent & friendly.
Went in for my first day of orientation eager to learn we get to the fire safety portion where the instructor is playing 3 videos that are 50 minutes long even tho we had a packet full of notes with all the information we needed, so I go on my phone I get it be courteous but those are just videos and the instructor isn’t in the room, I end up finding the opdww fire safety test online and try to share with classmates they’re not having it and telling me I’m wrong so I go back to being quiet on my phone the instructor comes back in the room and says “either go on your phone less or not at all” so I started drawing on my binder then from no where a girl in the back of the room comes out and has a very aggressive tone basically yelling at me too stop and questioning my intelligence I was so shocked I can’t remember what she said then I reply with a snarky comment she told me not to do anything illegal videos end we take the test I’m the first one done 1 question wrong and as I’m leaving I winked at her I leave about 15 mins later I get a call from crystal talking about there was an incident I’m thinking nothing of it and honestly I came in this morning and forgot she came to the room all angry I told you to wait for hr, hr comes basically tells me I made people uncomfortable I tell him my side of the story he’s like based on your actions from yesterday you’re not a good fit he made me drive 30 mins to talk to me for 5 and tell me to leave I even came in early this place isn’t worth it all the stuff you have to go thru just to work your actual first day and I didn’t even get to work my first day To all the hr and staff that wasn’t nice of you I felt attacked just now good riddance
