I’ve had such a wonderful experience with Ridgeland Place! I first discovered Ridgeland Place through a referral from APlaceForMom.com, and I was immediately impressed by the friendly staff and the genuine care they show for residents. Unlike some other facilities that can feel clinical, Ridgeland Place truly feels like a home. Even my dad, who is a tough critic, kept saying, “This place exceeds any of my expectations.” Pam, the Community Sales Director, was incredibly compassionate and accommodating in helping us get Dad established and comfortable in his new community. Shel, the Health and Wellness Director, went above and beyond, answering our off-hours calls to ensure Dad’s medications and care were consistent and reliable. Their dedication has given us so much peace of mind. What stands out to me the most, though, are the thoughtful and creative activities offered to residents. Behind the facility is a small academy football field, and there’s a screened porch on the second floor that overlooks it. During football season, the staff serves hot dogs on the porch for residents who want to watch the game—it’s a simple gesture, but it’s exactly the kind of thing my dad loves. It’s also a perfect example of how the staff pays attention to residents’ interests and creates engaging activities to make life more fun and meaningful. Ridgeland Place has truly gone above and beyond for our family, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

I was an employee at Ridgeland Place and it is horrible. I was threatened by a new employee which I reported and nothing happened to her. She still works there. I was very close with the residents and I went to visit the residents and was told by the employees that I had to leave because I no longer work there. I was told by management that I could visit even if I was no longer working there. Not a good nor professional place at all. I had seen other people go and visit even tho they no longer worked there. Bad bad place. They also do not take care of the residents like they should. One lady whom cannot eat in the dining room would not let me feed her. They just sat her food there and picked her tray up and this poor lady couldn’t eat. I feel sorry for the residents there.
Ridgeland Place has a very pleasant atmosphere, and a very friendly staff-it’s one of the best assisted living places to be.
Staff is very responsive and good. Sink is 🛀 bathroom is stopped up. Please take care of this.
The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The facility is well kept and the residents seem happy and very satisfied. One of the great activities is the monthly family night. The food and entertainment is wonderful, and everyone has a great time!
