The experience my wife Roberta had at Ridge Crest was extraordinary. Every member of the staff, ranging from nurses and physical therapists, to aides, kitchen staff, and even the janitorial staff were always happy and insisted on helping us in every way possible. The meals were amazing! Most importantly, the nursing staff, primarily Kimberly and Karina, were like family. Whenever there was a need for medications, trips to the bathroom, bed adjustments, etc etc the staff was always ready to help out. Our introduction to Ridge Crest was via Kayla Todd, who was amazing. She first gave us a tour of the facility, and then upon our being admitted via the hospital she visited with us periodically, and even called me one evening prior to Roberta's release to home to see if we had any questions or concerns. She is truly a jewel!

I spent two weeks there following open heart surgery. The facility is very nice, well appointed, and generally comfortable. The food selection is very good but not always consistently well prepared (eg veggies always over done). Daytime staff is generally very good and attentive, although long wait times are not unusual. Buzzer system should allow them to ask the issue and then respond, not just put patients in some kind of queue. Although there are some standouts, nighttime staff is very slow to respond and sometimes begrudgingly so. One night I waited over an hour in a wet bed for a response. For my needs, the bed was totally inadequate. Diuretics made me use a urinal multiple times per night. The bed head raised but the foot section would not lower, so I inevitably had "issues" urinating as there was no gravity flow to assist. Wet beds are not fun. Weekends are long here as many services are not available (like PT) and the weekend staff seems reduced, overworked and slow to respond. The PT staff was very good - especially Will and Wendy -(although I should have been scheduled much more frequently). The techs were knowledgable and caring, so hats off to them. Showers were good, but I was scheduled for only two per week (!) until I complained. Social workers (especially Dineen and Jeanine) were caring, concerned and quite helpful. Massage services should be available, especially for those spending long periods in beds. Overall - a pretty good facility but "5" ratings should be for the very top facilities in the country. Ridge Crest's shortcomings cause a one point reduction, hence the 3 rating. Given how much better Ridge Crest is than its competition, I would definitely recommend.
I was pleased to receive excellent care from the staff in Ridge Crest after a brief hospital stay. As a Meadow Ridge resident, it is comforting to have this facility on site.
The Staff took excellent care of my Mother. She had suffered a fall and fractured her pelvis along with other injuries. The therapists and nurses were outstanding. My Mother can be difficult, they took all in stride. Thank you all.
A wonderful experience! The entire staff was patient, loving and professional. They always went above and beyond in their responsibilities of making me feel prepared to return home. The food was also delicious. This is definitely the place to be for all your rehabilitation needs. Thank you to the entire staff for helping me heal!
