I am a former employee at riderwood arbor ridge where i was recently terminated for no reason. Salama starr a service manager at riderwood was harassing me of all sorts and lied on me numerous times to other highly superintendent managers above her saying i almost assaulted her which i didn’t and would even make rude and nasty comments about my religion mind you me and Salama both practice the same religion. She would always try to put me down at work and make me feel less then others, mind you i reported her Human Resources and instead of them moving me to a different restaurant the HR supervisor management gave me a final warning contract because of salama’s lies. After that issue i then asked again to be transferred and they refused, so i very much i feel like HR failed to help remove me from the arbor ridge side which i was no longer comfortable at. After that situation i then tried to avoid Salama as much as possible but she kept on proceeding to harass me and bother me on a daily basis till i was terminated last week. Therefore I feel like Human Resources at riderwood failed to make sure their former employee felt safe and comfortable instead i was fired. The arbor ridge side of riderwood Salama starr is a very unprofessional manager and should be terminated for just picking on children like that. Mind you she would talk bad about another manager named shafauli.

The cost is nauseating and the service my senior family members receive is pretty limited. Food is OK, at best. I will say the staff are very polite and the servers at the restaurants are great. It's just so expensive it's nearly stupid to spend your "golden years" pouring money in when the return is being neglected when you need actual support.
Top quality, compassionate care. My mom is now in the skilled nursing facility there. She spent about 10 years in independent living, a couple in assisted living, a couple in memory care, and now, skilled nursing. Every step of the way the experience has been impeccable. The staff is unfailingly attentive and understanding, even on her worst days. The facility has been expertly thought out to accommodate the needs of the residents. There are numerous clubs and outings for the residents. The administration has always been prompt and cordial in dealing with any questions I’ve needed to resolve. If you have a loved one who needs to leave their home, be sure to check out an Erickson community as an option.
This pace it’s very nice clean I visited every two weeks I have a friend living there which is very happy there
My parents lived in Riderwood unassisted and then Arbor Ridge for several years. They were very vital and energetic, and found the community provided a great deal of intellectual and physical stimulation. The staff were also caring and attentive. They thrived there. BUT, a warning to all who live there or are considering moving your lived ones there! There is a good deal of stealing in Arbor Ridge. Whenever I would buy my parents new clothes, they would disappear when they were sent for a wash. Their old worn-out clothes continuously came back to them, but not the new ones. And even more concerning, when my father died, the checks that sat on his dresser were stolen and someone try to cash them twice. My brother was alerted fortunately so could put a stop on the checks. But I can only imagine how often this is happening when family is not notified. I called the manager and the police but there was no follow-up even though they could actually identify the perpetrators by following the trail. When nothing was done, I wrote to the director of Erickson, but he did not even have the courtesy to reply. I still think its a wonderful place. But keep a careful eye out.
