The nurses and staff were really wonderful in providing excellent care for our mom while she was there. The physical therapy team did an excellent job. For that I would give 5 stars. I Am only giving 4 though because I feel like someone could have done a better job letting us know when appointments away from the home were. No one really ever contacted me to let me know so that I could be there with mom to hear what the doctor had to say. I would not let that deter me from using the nursing facility.

PEOPLE PLEASE BEWARE....This was a learning experience for us.....Do your homework and check out this facility before placing a loved one there. I will never again use this facility..... Staff was fine but the building is old and the environment was terrible. Our loved one was promised a private room, that never happened instead we ended up in a room with 2 other people and it was terrible, the bed was right in front of a window air conditioner, this was not a good situation. One of the other room mates had a tv blairing all day and night long, no one else even had a chance to watch or even listen to anything. This room should never have been set up for 3 people. You didn't even have room to sit when you wanted to visit. We had an incident where our loved one fell out of bed....12 hours later the family was notified....WHY did it take that long for notification. I hope this post will help some other family avoid the situation we had to endure for a week till we were able to transfer to another facility.
I would highly recommend Richfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Every visit I've made to the facility has been excellent. Friendly staff and very clean. The only place in the Richfield area I would trust to send my loved ones.
A great little facility in rural Pennsylvania. Looks much more like a home than most facilities I've seen. The staff are friendly, and the building looks and smells clean.
