Updated. Since this residential facility has been bought out by Opal, the quality of care and cleanliness has declined significantly and I can no longer say that I am happy having my family reside here. Huge turnover of staff, dirty and poor maintenance. Original review:We recently made the difficult decision to place our ageing family into respite with a view to permanency. The staff here have been extremely caring and supportive. They have been there for every need and residents have been attended to in a timely manner when required. It feels relaxed and residents are encouraged to socialize, participate in activities and are given the opportunity to make their own decisions where possible. Family/friend visits are encouraged and welcomed. I feel like we are in good hands.
Phone Issue I have called the office and spoken to several people on many occasions to have my mothers phone fixed, at the moment she can’t make or get calls, I’m always told its a priority and nothing happens sick of being told lies Then told that the IT person has been there and fixed their computers but phones for residents seem too hard and this is important as we live in the country. Lift your standards and priorities Life Care not good enough and how about cleaning mums room from time to time that might also be good.
Recently visited this aged care facility., very disappointed. Being ignored. The memory support area’s staffs are very rude and unsupportive, especially the team leader. They speak and treat the residents like child, speak to the visitor like a child, give a education lesson because of the visitors broke their routines and cross with the visitors. Disrespectful and Extremely rude. Don’t know how she become the team leader in this area. Especially this memory support unit need extra knowledge to help the residents. No one help the visitor to find way where to go, very frustrating, Wouldn’t recommended this facility. Hope the manager notice this.
Couldn't ask for more, don't understand all the other reviews. The place is spotlessly clean, the food is fresh and appetising and the staff are responsive and caring. I couldn't ask for anything else. Every staff member I approach is more than willing to listed and help where possible. Thanks!!!
