It was a blessing to find my mother the decent, affordable and quality living arrangement offered by the Revitz House. After reaching out to Mary Sweeney, Sales Counselor, the fantastic journey began - Mary helped us navigate the application process, answering every question we asked and returned every phone call/email. Customer service is a lost art these days, but Mary never failed to disappoint! She was instrumental in getting my mother accepted at the Revitz House the end of December 2024. During the interview process, we were treated like family by Loren Dorsey, Social Worker and Diane Stern, Executive Director (and of course, Mary). They put us at easy and explained their wonderful campus setting, all the features & amenities offered, and took us for a tour of Revitz House. It was marvelous and you can tell from their demeanor they're proud of what they do and are there to help tenants, as well as prospective tenants. The entrance has 24 hour concierge service and someone is always just a phone call away! There are so many opportunities for seniors; from transportation shuttles to local grocery stores & area shopping to weekly entertainment in the lobby area. The common areas are immaculate! The building offers tenants so many things: laundry rooms on each floor, dining experience on the lower level is remarkable (my mother loves it!), lots of parking for visitors, back area outdoor patio area. Every floor has large computer screens near the elevators showing daily activities and events, plus each apartment has a speaker that announces certain events. This place is simply amazing and I'm so happy to final have found a great place that mom can call HOME!

It could be nice. Resident's feel management makes it unbelievable. Dictatorial, lackadaisical, not concerned about the individuals who pay their salaries. It takes and act of congress to get essential things done like fix an elevator fixed, with the average resident is disabled. There are water leaks everywhere, roaches, bedbug's and on LL, rats. You are made to eat in a dinning room @an additional cost of $400.00. I hear they just raised the rent!! This place is funded by GRANTS. So, where is all the money going? Finally, someone reported the elevator issues. When inspector's came they were sited. Hopefully, this will wake the Director who has been here for the last 18yrs and allowed this place to go down to it's present state of ruin. We can only hope that JCCS will wake the Hell up!!
Great independent living apartments for individuals with limited income. Managed by Charles E Smith Communities. Synagogue services and Jewish traditions offered to residence in-house. Fitness center, great lobby with fire place, piano , art room, computer center and dining hall.
I was looking for an apartment for my son and daughter-in-law and what we found was a wonderful, caring, and beautiful home. From the beginning of the application process through their move-in at Revitz House; each step in the process exceeded my expectations. While I'm sure they have many requests and applications, we were treated like we were the only applicants. We were given such care and consideration and immediate response and support with any questions we had. Mary Sweeney is literally an angel. Her sincerity and expertise merged together to make the application and move in process smooth and unintimidating. Diane Stern and Laurie, the social worker and sure that you are valued member of their community. And, I would be remiss if I did not mention Adele, who is the first person that greets you when you walk in the door. She is a wealth of information and an exemplary communicator. We so appreciate her guidance in every question that we have. She has made my son and daughter-in-law feel comfortable, and for that I am very grateful.
I have a great experience with the Revitz house. The Revitz house is a wonderful place to live in. This beautiful residence is known for its incredibly welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are taken care of superbly and they are meticulously clean. The best part of the Revitz house is the staff – they are highly professional, attentive, kind, friendly, and compassionate. All requests are accommodated and delivered in a speedily and helpful manner. The front desk support staff Ms. Beverly James is always there to answer all the tenants’ questions and requests. The help of the Marketing Coordinator Ms. Mary Sweeney in organizing move and transition in invaluable. Special thanks should go to the Revitz house Director Ms. Diane Stern. She has created an effective and efficient working environment and a superb place for the tenants to have a worry-free lifestyle. There are many social activities and interesting events. Every day there is something going on – concerts by professional musicians, walk/drive to shops and restaurants, visits to museums. The food, prepared in the house, is tasty and responds to the Jewish values by being kosher. The Revitz house is a very special independent living option for older adults and persons with disabilities!
