I was trying to find the best fit for my parents. A Place for Mom recommended Retreat at Carrollton for us to visit. My husband and I decided to see it first before taking my parents for a visit. We were so impressed when we first entered the facility. It's brand new, with a lot of natural light. We love the contemporary style. The staff members provided a lot of very helpful information. When we took my parents there, they fell in love with it right away. We took the advantage to choose the unit that fits them the best. Now they've settled in for a week, they liked the food (3 meals a day), they love all the staff members there. They've been participating in all the activities, shopping, gym, Yoga etc. My dad has dementia, but he enjoys seeing people around and getting stimulated. Our whole family is so happy and so thankful for Retreat at Carrollton. This is my parents' new home. Compare with living in their own house, I know this new home gives them a better life quality.

Retreat At Carrollton has such a welcoming, warm vibe, and such wonderful staff! Speaking with each and every one, you quickly notice the true passion they have for our Seniors. This community is quickly growing, and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone who has a senior in their families.
Very professional and clean facility. The staff is amazing and friendly. Provide excellent care to the residents. Resident's care is their main priority.
We visited this facility recently and were surprised to meet with the staff. Each staff member was attentive to the needs of our loved one. The facility was clean and beautiful. The rooms were appropriate size. The pool, spa and BBQ area was clean and inviting surrounded by palm trees (yes, here in Texas). Lots of amenities including library, salon, game room. To our surprise they also have indoor putting green. I would highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a caring and comfortable place for your loved one.
I attended the Retreat for their Seniors Mayfest event. The staff is very friendly and professional. Lindsey was my tour guide, and she showed me the apartment models, as well as the Courtyard with pool and spa and the BBQ area. It's an oasis with palm trees and I think that my loved one would enjoy relaxing there! The Retreat is clearly designed with seniors in mind. There are many amenities provided. I highly recommend this facility to those looking for quality light assisted living for their family members!
