I worked in the kitchen for 4 days. I had to leave because they are serving food that was cooked 4 to 5 days prior. Everything is frozen and the menu is completely unhealthy. The head chef or whatever he is is severely disabled and can't cook at all. Another cook vapes in the kitchen constantly. The dietary manager admits that she has no idea how to cook. The cooks only make $13 and hour to cook upwards of 20 meals a day for over 100 people.

My experience with Resthaven has been great. The facility is beautiful and clean. In working with the nurses and CNAs I have found them to be professional and most of all caring. The residents are happy and are engaged in many fun activities. I highly recommend Resthaven and I am grateful that they are here to serve our community.
My Mom, Mary, needed inpatient physical therapy after a lengthy illness and hospital stay. We chose RestHaven and we weren’t disappointed to say the least! The staff is amazing! You can feel the warmth when you walk in the door you’re treated like family I attended several of the activities they had a Mardi Gras party. They had a Christmas party and at those activities I witnessed that all the staff knew all the patients on the first name basis, and were extremely Helpful and kind to the patients! It’s very hard to know I had to leave my Mom at a nursing home but the staff made it so easy for the whole family, I could rest knowing she was well cared for! Our experience was excellent and I would recommend Resthaven to anyone! Thank you to the staff for taking such great care of my Mom!!!
Would never recommend. My mother was placed here for skilled nursing and has made no progress since admission. Left in bed for long periods of time, items stolen from her room, injured multiple times, caught shingles while in the facility, and dropped during a transfer and family was never informed. Minimal communication with family. Hard to even get a call back. If you care about your loved one, choose another facility. They care about the $$ and not the well being of the patient.
This place was just what we needed for my mom. I was no longer able to care for her at home & the team at Resthaven took great care of her. They became her family. I've recommended them to many people. I don't know what we would've done without them.
