83 Av. du Prado, 13008 Marseille, France
A great place to live The Palazzo is a serviced residence. The key word here is: "services." The residence is superb, comfortable, and carefully decorated. The photos on the website are accurate. Ideally located in the city center, the residence is nevertheless surprisingly quiet: protected from noise by the thick walls of the two buildings on the one hand and the Sacré-Cœur Basilica on the other, the vast interior garden with its swimming pool is very pleasant, and the heavy traffic on Boulevard du Prado is barely audible. But what makes the Palazzo an exceptional place is, above all, the quality of the services provided and the warmth of the residence staff and management. You immediately feel at home when you arrive at the reception desk. Each resident maintains the independence they desire but is never isolated, knowing they can count on the assistance of a care assistant 24/7 by simply pressing a button on the medallion (or bracelet, as preferred) they wear. The numerous activities offered each day, adapted to the physical condition of the elderly and led with kindness and good humor, stimulate the maintenance of cognitive abilities and foster social relationships. I regret not having discovered the Palazzo sooner because I would have encouraged my mother to move in long before then! It is the place where, without hesitation, my wife and I would like to live in the autumn of our lives.

A disaster. The establishment is in receivership and depends on Girandières. Employee contracts are so precarious that the former chef abandoned his position last August. Conclusion: missing orders, portions halved, a light evening formula that is completely unsuitable (0 protein). The morale of the residents was affected: the director not only managed nothing during this critical period (3 weeks without a chef), but she also went on leave at that time. In the dining room: a half-crazed waitress runs between the tables, which ruins this precious moment. It is nicknamed by residents "the scooter". As soon as she has to clean in the kitchen, we hear her cursing and making noise with the utensils. We learned from her colleagues that she was drinking, hence her agitation and nervousness. In terms of security and surveillance, it is absolutely mediocre: the elevators sometimes break down, requiring the intervention of the firefighters / there is only one person to monitor at night, and they are sometimes replacements / the premises are not always supervised by caring people. My mother was chased out of the entertainment room by an employee in the evening, who used the sofa to sleep during her work hours! The TV antenna in the apartments receives one channel out of 4 (very poor network) and some apartments overlook Avenue du Prado, which is terribly noisy as soon as the windows are open. In short.... Exponential prices for management that is not at all up to par and delivery services that do not keep up. I do not recommend this establishment, which focuses everything on aesthetics and the flashy side of the walls and nothing on human warmth.
The residence is bright and welcoming, the staff attentive and very pleasant, the meals are excellent. My great uncle is staying in this residence after a catastrophic stay in an ephad, he comes back to life.
Very nice residence, top staff, I give seated dance classes there
My father has just moved there. Luxury residence, warm and attentive staff, quality catering. Fed up for the moment.
