My parents moved from middle GA in May 2024 back to Tuscaloosa. They wanted to come “home”. At this stage of life they needed support and we picked out Regency. This is the best place. They are very well taken care of and enjoy all the facility offers. They have made some friends and that has been so important to their well being. I feel so much gratitude for everyone at Regency for all of their compassion and support. All the stars! I’ve met a number of people on the staff and they look out for mom and dad. I don’t worry for them because I know they have what they need. In a world where you can be anything… be kind. That is what you will find at Regency.

The Regency is a wonderful, wonderful environment for my 87 year old Mother. The apartments are beautiful. The food is delicious, and there are plenty of activities every day to keep Mama busy. She loves the hairdresser and the manicurist, too. I attend church services with her on Sundays, and I stay for Sunday lunch. Mama had been alone for 5 years. Now, she is with people her age and has made new friends. She says, “It’s like living in a luxury hotel.” The Regency has been a Godsend. We are so thankful for the loving, caring staff. What a blessing this place had been!
Mom has been at Regency since September. She has done very well in this setting. Mom loves all of the different activities offered each day and says the breakfast meal is always very good. So far, my sister and I are pleased with the staff and the facility.
Mom spent two weeks at Regency and she was so impressed. She’s ready to go back. It’s a really nice place. She enjoyed the fun activities. The only problem she said …..is that she gets too Much good food. Hopefully, she can return in November and stay for an extended period of time.
Leaving this review for a close friend who had a horrible experience, since they do not have a Google account. Easy and welcoming to resident at first, but they were pressured to upgrade their stay and the experience felt degrading to them. Would advise against a stay here.
