My mother is terminally in bed in an apartment in Reedewaard. My father also lives there and has NAH. It is a beautiful apartment and my father thinks all the employees are treasures. The pleasant environment of Almere Haven convinced them to live here and they also like the food. However... many healthcare providers (except for a few) are not capable and trained enough to deal with the (palliative and nursing) care that they should provide to my mother. Thank God we are present a lot and my sister-in-law and brother also work in healthcare so that many errors that they notice can be corrected. An ad mattress where people did not know how the pump works, a pillow that is placed under the legs, which is not what should be done on such a mattress. Our question was whether a mouth spray could be used in my mother's case. But that is not allowed. Care that seems insecure and asks us questions that they should know themselves. Inadequate communication between each other, causing things and information to become lost or mixed up. And these are just a few examples! All my confidence in this care provision is gone, even though we entrusted our parents to them. It makes me very insecure because I don't know whether what they are doing is right. In addition, it is an old building that requires a lot of maintenance and cleaning, but that also leaves much to be desired. It takes a long time or it doesn't happen at all. But in the meantime you pay a lot of rent every month. You're not going to move older people again, but this really isn't possible!

a terrible attitude... you pay way too much if you look at the price-quality ratio. the healthcare workers are lax, act nice to the patients but at the same time hate the work. they are poorly prepared for accidents, they are not hygienic and very incompetent.
I don't understand the reviews below. My mother enjoys living here, the food is excellent and the care staff are friendly and committed.
Eating is a drama😵 and so is the rest. Really, your health insurance pays a lot of money for this. Not recommended
A healthcare institution that does not work according to protocol! Really scary! Management will have to pay attention to this!
