Be warned. If your loved one has any significant savings and has a good paying pension coming in monthly, they will do anything and everything they can do to get power of attorney over them. Long story short, a judge believed my relative, who was diagnosed with dementia, and my relatives were banned from their property and threatened with the police if they came back. QLS now manages their savings and monthly income, and they get paid a handsome fee monthly for doing it. QLS is pure evil and greed

My mother was here for almost a year and was cared for very well. Stephanie, Megan and Rochelle were awesome. We only moved my mother because there was an opening at the VA center.
My dad has been in this nursing home for a year now and there have been alot of ups and downs. They have some terrific nurses and aides problem is they let them go or move them around so much because of seniority. The aides cab be very rude and it always smells bad in there. I also think they need a better phone system. However the administrator, social worker, nurse practioner, therapy staff and the good aides and compassionate nurses, janitors, cooking staff and laundry staff still left is why I gave it a 4. They are kind, compassionate and generally listen and help solve any problems you have. I think they are understaffed like everywhere else. I appreciate everything they have done so far.
My wife has been in their care since March. Couldn't ask for more attentive care! Everyone is friendly, attentive, and of good humor! The people really seem to care and perform their duties with this helpful/caring attitude. No request is ignored, and is fulfilled if at all possible. Overall a very pleasant, well operated facility.
I will start off by by saying that I was upset because I wanted to go somewhere else for my rehab. They weren't fully prepared for my arrival, no rails or extension for the bed. I didn't have a walker or wheelchair until I asked my husband to bring my walke inside. Information about the facility and procedures given on my arrival was vague. No TV remote for 2 days. I didn't see staff a lot unless called upon. I felt as if I was in no man's land. After being here for 4 days, my bedding was changed and I did get to shower, definitely not hot water. The positives are these, most everyone is friendly, the section I'm in is only about 5 yrs old, nice rooms and bathrooms. My original post was harsh, so I decided to rewrite it because it was fueled by emotion. Having said that, this facility still wouldn't be my first choice but I'm here and will try to be positive.
