I would give zero stars if I could, they didn't help my parents and my dad is a honorable disabled veteran of 20 years. I understand there is an obvious confusion of what disabled is, and that's not reaping all benefits on every aspect of life, and funds endlessly. It's truly struggling at every aspect of life. Truly disabled is when your family, you your wife/ husband or lack their of, and family, future, and work life, social life, everything suffering, it's not thriving at all and everything, that's not disabled. That's why truly disabled people can't get help support they need, because too many take advantage, and ones who truly need it help and support suffer in silence till they die. It seems like it's all a facade to hook themselves and their friends up, and ones really need the help don't get it. My parents live in horrible living conditions and really bad health, and get swept under the rug. They been needing help getting, Tricare their military IDs and critical home repairs, my dad's dog trained registered as service dog. They get no help absolutely nothing From this organization and they live right under their noses, I bet my parents aren't the only ones getting this treatment. My parents need so much help, and they are abandoned, and get run around for any and everything they truly need and deserve, and get turned away from organizations claim they help, and they don't get the help, or any help, for their living conditions or their needs. It's sad, but it's reality. They really need to have a non profit that really helps all veterans in need. Not just special picks of their own. Applied years ago for critical home repairs through purple hearts, needs from everything from electrical and roof and plumbing and deck and more. A representative of purple hearts was out there when plumbing incident happened, and prior numerous times, purple hearts was, and has been aware of severity of living conditions, and we was told they had no way of helping him. Which was believable, and understood, so they went on living horrible living conditions even at cost of their physical and mental health, and now without home care aid...but not so believable when veterans that are thriving at everything life, get unnecessary home upgrades in same city, and unnecessary motorcycle gifts-not because they needed it, but because they deserved it..agency claimed. The roof, dad could of had, home repairs dad desperately needed and all, everything they claimed was unavailable, in this city for my dad, all just gave away freely and boastfully, and more than generously, all to already thriving veteran, not gave to one living in deplorable critical living conditions that desperately needed the help.

Good evening people, just to give a little shout out to John Gallina's purple heart homes, I'm a disabled combat veteran in East Texas, how I got here is a long testimony, how I am being treated by self serving, Greedy people in our society is an ongoing battle, in a bad way but i have Faith so, keep fighting for what your heart tells you, God sent me John Gallina, purple heart homes, he came through like a champ! Can't say enough about his crew, Tim Bates, Kerry, or Charlie either, there dedication to the cause, and persistence in the odds faced and theorganized way of tackling my problems is eye opening, if I had not been blessed to meet him who knows. I'm blessed to have these people in my consciousness on a daily, to know you have people that care about you, and make the necessary choice to go against man's current way of being takes courage, and seeing the way elite and wealthy people take from less fortunate people everyday feuls my passion to do what he put me here in Texas to do!!!!!! thank you Jesus. VOVEW thanks you, and God sees everything smiling, love you John, "Brother".

This is a great organization that provides housing needs for our veterans. The people that run it are dedicated to provide their services to the fine men and women that serve our great country through the armed forces.
