I was at the Windach Clinic from September 7th, 2023 to October 26th, 2023. I came especially from North Rhine-Westphalia because I really wanted to go to this clinic. In my opinion, the waiting time was also very short (approx. 2 months). I am so happy and grateful to have done this and can only recommend it to everyone. The therapy is very intensive, especially in individual therapy for me personally. I was able to meet wonderful people there. Arriving at the clinic was very difficult for me and a lot happened to me in the first 3 weeks. But it's worth staying and not breaking off! Even if you might think it's best at the moment. That's not it. I didn't come out healthy and you shouldn't expect that, because that's not possible, but definitely as a different person. I took my life back. The therapists there are great and someone is there around the clock to help with crises or something similar. EVERYONE is looked after very well, whether private or statutory. In contrast to other clinics, you can stay here not only 6-8 weeks, but even up to 12. But it depends on the diagnosis and that is then decided by the therapist. In most cases you can extend it to 8 weeks and if there is the possibility I would recommend it to everyone. I was also once in a single room for 2 weeks even though I am not a private patient, as I initially had severe problems sharing the room with a stranger. By the way, I'm 21 years old and was therefore among the young adults. From 26 onwards you join the older ones. Thanks to the Windach Clinic and all the treating therapists there!

I'm in the OCD group, and I'm very happy with my psychotherapist. I've never had such a professional and patient therapist, with such a calming manner. He gets to the heart of what I'm experiencing and asks the right questions. My emotions surfaced with him right from the start. It's as if he'd seen right into my soul. That's not something I take for granted, as I generally have trouble trusting therapists. It's a shame he's not an outpatient. I hope I can make good use of the remaining time here and that my symptoms will improve. Of course, nothing will happen without self-initiative; every patient must be aware of that. Best regards, Nathalie
I was in the Windach Clinic from July to September 2024 after I collapsed in August 2023. Back then I didn't know what was wrong with me and in the private sector with no prior knowledge of depression, burnout etc. it's almost impossible to find a good doctor. The first few weeks of really getting to grips with my illness were hell, but thanks to my fellow patients and the entire staff in Windach, I made it through. I was supported at all times and given a lot of resources. Not only was my mask taken off, but also my blinders and rose-colored glasses. And social services gave me lots of places to go after the clinic. My psychotherapist and my group therapy were all so valuable. I was able to share the two-bed room with a perfect fellow patient. Here too I have to say that the second person was valuable for me. You have a lot of free time that you can and can fill according to your own needs. Sports courses are offered, which you can take part in at your own convenience. If you complain about the food, there is also a pizzeria in town and a small shop where you can get everything you need for everyday life. I am very grateful for everything I was able to experience in Windach, even though it was a very difficult time for me. I would go to the clinic again without batting an eye if I needed it. And with a smile on your face and full of anticipation.
The one star is only for the kitchen service staff and the cleaning ladies! I'm very glad that I don't have to be there anymore and had to leave earlier! They don't care about the person, they only care about the money. Very inhumane. If you have any questions, you can write to me on Instagram. @mountainman.at
I went to trauma therapy from July 2nd. to 10/15/24 in this wonderful clinic and it was the best decision of my life. The concept of trauma therapy is unique and very, very effective. A perfectly coordinated interaction between a women's group, body therapy and art therapy brought about deep processes and changes in me. Two very intensive individual discussions per week with my outstanding reference therapist, Ms. Dr. Scheel and the equally wonderful co-therapist Ms. Schuler have made it possible for me to give a clear YES to life again, to have recognized my own worth, to have learned to love myself, to finally be able to sense and feel myself and my body as a unit, and life makes so much sense and fun again. The entire station 5 does a wonderful job with a lot of love and passion. I would also like to highlight the psychological director Ms. Unger, the body therapist Ms. Winter, the physiotherapist Ms. Hafner and the lovely Ms. Kick from biofeedback. You have all given me such valuable things, and I am grateful for that with all my heart! ❤❤❤ But I would also like to address one thing here. EVERYONE who decides to stay in such a clinic is also responsible for themselves and should be aware that it will not work without their own cooperation, without the will to really open up in depth and without the courage to get involved in changes. So take advantage of this opportunity and get fully involved :-)
