My dad was placed in this nursing home recently due to having brain cancer. He was suffering from memory loss and was very confused and in a manic state when he was admitted. I was extremely apprehensive as I have heard nightmare stories about nursing homes. The building looks quite old, but is extremely clean inside. The staff is absolutely amazing! Everyone is so kind and caring. I thought maybe the staff was just being nice in front of us family members being there, but they were unaware one day that my dad‘s phone was on one day with me overhearing and they came to check on him. They were just so sweet and attentive. The fact that they have so much patience with him and genuinely seem to care about his well-being, not only is our family’s mind put at ease, but my dad, himself, who was extremely against being placed in a facility, actually has made comments that he feels like he is getting good, quality care. I would, especially like to give a shout out to nurse Vivian. We came in with so many questions and concerns, and she has gone above and beyond to explain things to us and to make sure that my dad is getting the best care. Also shout out to Kristian. I believe he’s an occupational therapist who spent a lot of time trying to get my dad out of bed yesterday so I could take him for a walk in the wheelchair. There have been other people there as well going above and beyond, I just didn’t catch their names, that have just really done an amazing job as well. I highly recommend this facility for your loved ones!

My husband spent three weeks there to recover. We had had friends and family go to other skilled nursing/rehab facilities that were just awful. Not so with St. Elizabeth..we had an excellent experience there. The nurses and staff are all very caring and professional. In fact, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. The P.T., O.T. and Speech Therapists are well trained with lots of experience. And, my husband actually liked the food! I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs this type of medical care.
From an ER doc: This is the only skilled nursing/rehab facility in the S.F. Valley that I would entrust my own family to. My father has been there several times to rehab from illnesses and he received the best care. The facility is clean, the staff are competent and caring, the social programs are well done. Neil and Susan run a great care facility. They take pride in their work.
Soooo where do I start??? This place is the absolute most horrible place on earth!!! Please if you care about your family member do NOT let them go to this place. Melissa at the front is so rude and nasty and disrespectful I can’t believe this person works with humans!!! That is just the beginning. I went to visit my Mom and she was in pain so I pushed the call light not one person answered or responded to the the call for over 35 minutes so I went to the hall where there was no one finally I saw a young man and he said he could not help, after finally getting someone they apologized up and down said it would never happen again so when she left I pushed the button again and nothing no one ever came. I tried to ask the CNA questions she just ignored both my Mom and I the whole time she was in the room. My Mom was so happy till she got to this place. Yesterday my incontinent Mother had to sit in a wet diaper all day no one would come to change her. I am filing a report against this place. It’s dirty, everyone one is rude and nasty, they neglect your loved one, and they don’t have phones for the patients so they can miss treat treat them and they can’t call home. This place needs to be shut down. Also the director of nursing she just sits in her office and laughs about everything she won’t do anything!!!! Please don’t send someone you care about to this place!!! Shut this place down and arrest every single person that works for this place!!! Last thing I have read these amazing reviews and I have to ask how much did they pay these people to to all that nice stuff or are they employees?? I can’t believe anyone would have anything nice to say about this place. you all should be ashamed and disgusted with yourselves!!
I tried to call my brother who recently had a stroke. He hardly speaks, but is able to understand. The call turned into a struggle with his nurse to try to remove something from his teeth which he was speaking around. I could completely understand my brother, and there was no need to for the nurse to do battle with him during our conversation. The nurse, named Bella continued to struggle with my brother despite my requests for her to stop. Finally I hung up the phone and called back, speaking with Bella again. She was more interested in winning the struggle with my brother then accommodating a family member's requests. I told her I was going to speak to a supervisor Monday. Bella told this to a fellow employe in a mocking tone, which caused the other employee to laugh out loud. The answer to this is no, I would never recommend this place to anyone.
