I can not disagree more with the negative review. My mother is at Providence and the experience has been nothing but positive. I was worried about transitioning my mother into a new facility because of her Alzheimers, but Providence made the transition so easy for her and I. My mother is thriving there, she finds purpose now everyday! The activities are engaging and well thought out, the premises are beautiful and the rooms are very spacious! All of the staff there have been patient, kind and nurturing. An Alzheimer’s diagnosis is scary but Providence helps my family understand this journey we are on & provides top notch care for their residents. My mother is happy, and not just looked after, she is truly cared for. She is safe, engaged, smiling again & finding joy. I wholeheartedly with confidence recommend Providence for those suffering from dementia related conditions. They are what all memory care facilities should strive to be like.
I just had the most wonderful visit with my 90 year old mother who lives in Providence Living at Maitland. My mom struggles with dementia and had a stroke in August of 2021. We moved her into Providence Living 4 months ago and the change in her is amazing! I see joy in her eyes, her energy level has greatly improved, and she is laughing and living her best life possible at 90. Providence Living at Maitland is a very unique environment. It is warm, cozy, homey, very clean and really beautiful inside and outside. You feel like you are living in a big beautiful home. Besides the delicious and nutritious food served in a lovely dining room setting, my mom is enjoying all the many activities throughout the day like arts and crafts, exercise, music, and games. The incredible staff keeps the residents engaged and you can clearly see they love what they do. There is no doubt the staff selection is very carefully considered and they do not look to fill a position with just anyone. They treat the residents with respect, dignity and like family. Providence is inspiring and brings comfort to me and my family knowing my mother could not be in better trustworthy hands!
Providence Living at Maitland is a wonderful and special place. My 90 year old mother-in-law who has dementia has been living in Providence for 4 months now and she is happy, healthy, loved and care for by their incredible staff. What sets Providence apart from the rest is that they treat their residents with respect and dignity. My mother-in-law has high quality food options that are nutritional and delicious. She enjoys the exercise, music, games and the beautiful surroundings. It feels like a big beautiful home and you are constantly seeing the love and support each resident receives from the staff. The staff is hand picked and carefully selected which you can see without a doubt. Thank you Providence for all you do!
Very grateful to have found this community. It’s clean, there is always something to do- not just being sat in front of a tv, the food is good with a nice selection. Visiting mom is easy!
