I cannot say enough good things about The Promenade at Tuxedo Place. My father was fortunate enough to be a resident there for 6 years before passing recently. The staff there (though they were more like family) were professional, kind and caring, attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Any concerns were always addressed in a timely and respectful manor. The facility and grounds were always well maintained and provided a home like setting. My father always referred to The Promenade as "home" and we are grateful for the safe, warm and loving community and staff that made dad's last years happy ones!

My siblings and I have been grateful to the staff for helping our parents transition from their home of 40+ years to a beautiful apartment at the Promenade. Suzanne, Amanda, Alice, and Christine have been kind, supportive, and extremely helpful on so many levels. I highly recommend this community for anyone looking for an assisted living option!
I have been a resident for 14 years in the independent living side in Tuxedo. In the past 2 years this place has declined in a number of ways. I observed an employee punch a female employee. They recently fired a long term employee who was not only a hard worker but also a kind and considerate helper to the seniors who live here. The smell of drugs is evident in certain outdoor areas where employees gather. It's kind of upsetting because the apartment is quite nice and for most of my residence here everything has been relatively normal and pleasant.
Christine at the Promenade has been an absolute Angel!! She has followed through with every question and concern that we’ve had. Mom has lived there for two months now. She is thriving. She loves her apartment! It’s adorable. Mom also loves the help she receives from her caregivers. She says they are delightful! She has improved so much from when she moved in until now. She’s getting the exercise she needs and is enjoying friendships that we’re unavailable at home. She was a shut-in during COVID as we all were. She had no stimulation. Now her dance card is full! From crafts to watching movies with her peers. They also bring in entertainment for the residents which she absolutely loves! She says they are fantastic! She enjoys a happy hour with a glass of wine and friendships. She’s also enjoying so much, the social aspect of the community. She has always been a social butterfly and now she’s just like her old self! It’s so comforting to our family. She can also get a visit from our dog whom she loves! If you’re considering assisted living for your loved one, definitely ask for Christine to give you a tour of the community. You and your loved one will feel like it’s home! May God Bless you all! My father has been at The Promenade at Tuxedo since December & seeing him so happy & thriving there has made this decision so much easier! From our first visit with Sadie to present all staff members have gone out of their way to embrace each resident as a family member. Their support, encouragement, caring & friendliness are consistently demonstrated at all levels of personnel. We particularly liked the "homey" feeling that a smaller facility provides & couldn't be happier with our choice! Thanks to all there for always making the effort!!!
