After my mother repeatedly fell, she was transferred from the hospital to the short-term care facility at the Pro Seniore Residence Frankenthaler Sonne. After the short-term care, we were fortunate enough to be able to stay in a two-bed room at the Pro Seniore Residence. Now that she has lived there for a few months and has settled in, my mother can no longer imagine moving into her own apartment. Our experience with the staff, nursing care, and home management is consistent with my mother's. The entire staff, including nurses, administrative staff, cleaning staff, caretakers, reception, and home management, are always cheerful, friendly, and very helpful, and approachable at any time. The wonderful parties and activities that are excellently organized by and with the staff, despite the additional workload, are also very positive. In this sense, one can only say that at Pro Seniore, one can enjoy one's retirement with dignity and loving care. We say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who treats the residents so lovingly and humanely. You are simply fantastic!!!!!

Our mom has been living in the sun in an apartment in assisted living for a while now. Because she wasn't feeling so well in the meantime, she unfortunately had to go to the hospital and then into short-term care, also in the sun. What can I say: the house and the staff there are just great!!! Starting with the residence advice, which responded to us so empathetically and lovingly that we (our mother, my two sisters, my brother and I) immediately felt at home, to the outpatient service, which has also looked after our mother in a nice, professional and loving manner since she moved into the apartment. I don't want to mention anyone by name here because everyone in the company is doing a great job. My praise goes to the whole house. It's also great that Sonnen is the only facility that has its own in-house outpatient service. When mom had to go into short-term care, thank God it was possible to do so spontaneously. That's not a given... And here too: the nursing staff on the ward treat the old people so well. Nobody works a 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. job here. Everyone we have had the pleasure of getting to know so far (nursing staff, caretakers, reception, administration, supervisors, cleaning ladies, nursing and house management, etc...) always have a smile on their faces, despite the very difficult work. And everyone here deserves big praise and a big thank you. You can clearly see the 40 years of experience here. We would like to thank all employees for their daily work and also the great parties and activities. After short-term care, mom was able to move back into her apartment, which we and mom were very happy about.
My father has been staying there for four weeks. The rooms, as well as the entire complex, are clean and well-maintained. All rooms have a balcony. The town center is 300 meters away. Age-appropriate gymnastics and exercise classes are offered. The food is decent. We are satisfied with the €74 a day we spend staying there. All rooms are equipped with an emergency button. The care and other services can be booked as part of a package. I think the facility is quite good for assisted living.
My mother has been there for 1.5 years and is constantly asked about the quality of the food, but nothing has improved to date. The food is without spices and salt. and often indefinable. After asking other residents, they say the same thing. The staffing is clearly too low. The nursing staff is still very nice and always tries to be there for the patients.
Be careful, residents' valuables and money are stolen here. Please don't bring anything with you or have anything taken with you. Unfortunately, no countermeasures are being taken. Otherwise good nursing home.
