Moved mom in today. We have been in two other retirement homes in another state and Primrose beats both of those. The staff are so friendly and professional and there does not appear to be a shortage of help like I have seen in other places. The facility feels very comfortable. The food was great and you could tell the chef really loves what he does. I think she will enjoy living here and will be well taken care of by everyone.

La Shawn is amazing. He welcomes you with such a great attitude & our cup of coffee. Breakfast the last two days were cooked to perfection, especially the eggs. Thank you
LaShawn and Wayne in the kitchen are the reason I gave 5 stars. They always put the residents first when it comes to their job. The love and care they have for the residents reflect in their cooking. I have met both and have always been respectful and seem very dedicated to their job. The facility as a whole is wonderful as well and I hope they are around for a long time.
I was helping out as a caregiver, and the young gentleman cooking breakfast was a breath of fresh air, La-Shawn was his name, he brightened up everyone's morning, including mine, he was kind enough to buy me breakfast. If you see this La-Shawn thank you for a wonderful experience.
Idk why a door dash worker would rate this place based that one short experience. The woman in the apartment was probably living in the independent section and it's just the way she lived. I honestly have no idea, but Primrose truly is an amazing place. Staff only checks on you in case of emergency or if they don't see you for a bit or if you need something. They're very good at that. There are also pull chains for help, in the apartment. People come in to clean for you, but, other than that, It's like living in any apartment. Not much supervision. It's INDEPENDENT living. As you get worse, you move into assisted living on the other side of the building. This tenant may have been getting to that point. No one knows except for the women herself and the staff, but I know Primrose wouldn't let someone live in their own urine. No way. I've seen rooms on both independent and assisted living sides. My father chose to live here, on the independent side, so far, because my mother has Alzheimer's. This place is so clean and cozy. All staff are VERY nice and the amenities can't be beat! The nursing staff is also great! I love going to visit my parents. I stay 5 or 6 nights every month and it's wonderful! They also have a guest suite available, so you can stay in the building, with your friends or family. The food is also outstanding and they have MANY activities for the seniors. Heck, I wish I could live here.
