This job is very accommodating and has great benefits , but a typical day working here as a dietary aide is very disappointing.first off, Management is ran poorly and I can explain why -They constantly put you in positions to fail Example: Food is not prepped to serve residents by the employees that are assigned to do so -There is no clear sense of direction Example: Employees are not assigned tasks such as prep, who is supposed to plate room trays or take residents orders. Dishes : Sometimes carts of dishes on occasions will be left in the dish room causing morning crew to wash them before service. In addition to poorly ran management, there is a sense of not being heard by employees no matter what the situation might be it seems to be never taken care of. There is also drama within Culinary and a sense of favoritism. For example, management treats some employees better than others and you can feel it within the environment. In conclusion working here can be a great situation for somebody that needs benefits and stability, but if you would like to deal with bad management that comes with it, than I highly suggest you stand clear of this place!
