My dad spent his last 3 months here and couldn't ask for better care. They treated him like family and kept us notified of anything we needed to know. His room was always clean and so was he. I only wish for the sake of the staff and in turn the patients, that these facilities would have more staff. It's a very tough job and they all work so hard.

This place is a joke! The director of nursing Meredith is very unprofessional and rude to residents and family members and staff. And the administrator Tara is a joke to when she is confronted about the way the don treats people she blows it off. My family member will not be going back there. They need to shut down or get new management. The don is very unprofessional swears terribly & has zero compassion for residents.I honestly thought when I first took family member there she was kind & believe me I saw the real person.short & rude with answers to questions it’s like you are completely bothering her.im sorry but my loved one is first priority. And bed bugs are back probably never gone they don’t fix the issue correctly the director of nursing don’t care.
They have fired a few people and now the staff is very wonderful. I don't know what I would do without them. My wife and I are very busy people working 2 jobs each to be able to take care of everyone. Now that this place has fired the problem people my mother is safe and comfortable. She has made friends with staff who help her in every way possible. My mother is paralyzed from a stroke and they take the best care of her. Some of her friends that are staff even do extra things for her like bring extra food and get things from the vending machine if she has a craving. They just go above and beyond and the nurses are super nice. They did have a problem with a few mean nurses and aids that were a problem but have since got rid of them after finding out how they were treating patients. I'm glad they caught it and now that place is a heaven sent blessing for me and my family. I recommend it to anyone in the area who needs assisted living.
Armstrong Rehab has replaced some of its previous Administrative team by acquiring leadership members that care about the quality of care provided to residents. We are improving the facility from the ground up and so far, these changes have made a HUGE difference. I am proud to be a part of this team! Let's keep in mind, one person's negative opinion doesn't reflect ONE truth and their bad experience does not equal the whole truth of it all. Many residents are happy and content here. Our goal is to improve the reputation that precedes us and build better moving forward.
My grandma was very sick and needed to go to the hospital for days and the people here literally ignored her until my dad had to threaten to take her himself. She's now in the hospital on a ventilator. Do NOT put your family members in this place they DO NOT take care of them properly. Not to mention that she would be left ringing her bell for 2 hours before anyone would come to her room. I hope they shut this place down. This is not okay. I could lose my grandma now because THEY didn't take the proper precautions.
