Homes are nice but HOA board and committees keep creating things to change to increase fees on residents. Even during the hight of COVID, they decided to change the entire furniture and drapes for the community center although they were fine and functional. Some residents were financially hurting due to business closures and lock down. The HOA had a surplus of $750,000 and the BOD decided to spend the money instead of giving financial repreave on monthly HOA fees. They have been increasing fees every year and use the money for useless and unnecessary stuff. The latest change is to install new home address numbers and mailboxes.

We are very happy here. House values are higher than AI generated appraised values due to great neighbors which are not factored in housing value appraisals algorithms.
A great place to visit -- an even better place to live!🕺🏻💃🏼 Potomac Green is one of the best 55+ Active Adult Communities in Virginia. Excellent facilities, activities and events. Residents and staff are very friendly.
Potomac Green community center is very nice for the residents of Potomac green or guest of them you must live there or be a guest with them to go there but it is very nice very well run very clean maintenance is up to date have a nice indoor and outdoor pools bocce ball courts tennis courts and other things for the seniors to do however the only way you can come here is to live here or be a guest it is not open to the general public otherwise it is a private gated community but it is a great place if you live there or or a guest there
Too many dogs……grass is no longer green in many areas and the air is no longer fresh due to pollution of dog waste and urine. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful community!
