A very dear friend of mine had to bring her husband here for a short time after a fall he had. The treatment he received at this facility was absolutely horrific. He left your care worse then he went in. Within an hour of being home he had to be taken to the hospital. The state will be notified of how this place is run. So please if you are thinking of putting a loved one here...DONT!!!!

My 94 year old mother had fallen at home. Pleasantview is wonderful in rehabilitation. Her physical therapy team were the best. All the staff were kind and compassionate. Amber was extremely helpful as the social worker with her discharge.
After 8 days in the hosp recovering from Influenza A my mother was transfered to Pleasant View for rehabilitation. less than 24 hours later I removed her from this facility and took her home. She was not permitted out of her bed during her hosp stay because she is a fall risk, uses a walker at home and wheelchair when out of the home. The Pleasant View staff expected her to get out of bed and use the restroom without a walker and left her to clean herself unsupervised. When she asked for a phone to call me she was informed she would have to go to the front desk to call me. I will never recommend this facility for in house care. I am only giving one star because I have to in order to post this review.
We went in to see a family member and this was my 3rd time visiting. I was outraged on the way he was being taken care of. - There was urine on mat by his bed and he was in bed and had a Depends on. - His Oxygen was unhooked and laying on the floor by puddle of urine. - There was pudding or yogurt spilled on pedal at foot of the bed. We both went up and complained, they said they were short staffed. I'm sorry that's totally unacceptable because no one deserves to be treated like that. They really need to get there act together or I will get in touch with the state board. * * * UPDATE * * * We brought him some presents for Christmas, he was so excited to have a couple little Latch Hook Rug kits, which he hasn't gotten to do in years. Come to find out, a month later, his rugs came up missing. He is upset, and so are we. $60 worth of gifts, just gone, and nobody has any idea where they went.
Loved the fact that this place is still a family run facility. The staff from the front desk to the nurses were all kind and very welcoming!
