Pleasant Valley Family Care provided a caring environment for my mother-in-law with advanced dementia for several years (2023-2025). My wife and I were very happy with the daily care she received. I highly recommend!! Ben and Veronica are the most kind and compassionate people who treat their residents with dignity and respect. They were born for this! The house and residents are always clean and well fed. My dad went there on hospice and we had little hope he would make it past a few months.. His health improved so much because of the care he was receiving and he lived another 2 years!! How amazing!!
Moving my mother here has been “life-changing” for my mother and my sister and myself. My mother has severe dementia, and requires a lot of care. when I had her in a large, assisted living facility, she had different caregivers all the time and I was quite worried she wasn’t getting the care she needed. I no longer have that fear and know that my mother is being well cared for. That allows my sister and I not have to worry about her on every day basis. Now we can enjoy our visits with her, knowing that she is being well cared for when we cannot be with her. .
Absolutely, 100,000% percent, the best facility I could even imagine to place my father in. Veronica and Bernard are phenomenal human beings who have their residents best interests at heart. They do have particular visiting hours which is understandable when you have elderly residents with varying disabilities and care needs. I love that they put their residents needs, care and safety ahead of what is convenient for others. They are transparent and communicative about this and everything. I am so happy and relieved that my father is in the best hands available.
We moved Mom into this extraordinary home a couple of months ago. We can truly say that It has exceeded our expectations in every way. Run by a caring, competent, and professional couple with a health care background, they are diligent in attending to all of Mom's complicated physical, psychological, and emotional needs and do so with extreme precision. As a hands-on family, we were blessed to find a home that welcomes us as if we are their family. Mother will be 96 next month and coming out of Covid19 and a very bad nursing home experience we needed to be sure to find an environment with patience, understanding, and love. Pleasant Valley Family Care checks all the boxes!
