This is a very clean facility and I must say the front desk security is very professional, informative, and out going. The facility has many different places and activities for the residents to feel right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for safe and supportive living for themselves or a family member. On site laundry, beauty/ Barber, activities department and many more amenities. Stop in and see the place for yourself I'm sure you will find what you're looking for or even better in Pioneer Gardens. Tell Em Mr. Brown sent you. Blessings & Good Vibes!
Staff is pretty good responding to a crisis. While my church was visiting, my sister had a low sugar episode and had to go down to the nurse to get treated. The nurse responded right away. I don't think my sister's sugar should have been that low. I'm not sure about the monitoring process. Since being in the facility my sister has had two episodes, one her sugar was too high, two it was too low. How does that happen in an assisted living facility? I've only seen two meals and they both seemed adequate and tasty. The facility is pretty clean but the rooms are very small. Security makes sure you sign in and out.
My dad was a resident here since 2012 or 2013. I nevered knew about senior assistant living until I was told my dad needed to go in a nursing home. When I heard about facilities like these, I researched and found Pioneer Gardens. This was just what my dad needed for his independent. They understood his Dementia and other health problems. They took him to his doctor's appointment when I couldn't. He got 3 meals a day., housekeeping weekly and activities. The nurse made sure he took and had all of his meds when needed. They took care of him until the end. Thank you staff members....❤❤❤
My Mother currently lives here, the staff is nice, however there are somethings that can be improved. The CNA's come into the rooms without permission, my Mother has been changing clothes, using the bathroom, etc and the staff will use their key and come right into the room. Also the appliances are not up to par, the Microwave and Refrigerator is the cheapest they have on the market. We replaced the Microwave with one she already had and I am going to end up replacing the refrigerator because it does not keep the ice cream frozen, it literally is in liquid form if you put it in there for a day. Again the staff is nice but the issue with the CNA's entering the room without permission is unacceptable.
