I'm basing my rating solely on my experience with trying to communicate with the social worker Steve. I've been trying to transfer my mother out of this facility and have sent all requested paperwork, yet my messages have been left unanswered. The communication is horrible. **I've called the customer care line twice and I'm not even sure if what I said was documented.** Natalie is a nightmare to work with and is completely untrustworthy, claiming she was not able to "see the paper work" I sent in, she refused to give the new facility my moms medical records. These people do not care about the well being of their patients, they care about money!!! Do not send your loved one here!!

Look at the ratings, not the reviews. Mine included. But I am here to tell you, my loved one was on a 5 day respite stay. Respite - meaning I, also a nurse who took off work to care for my mother, had a 5 day break to be with my kids and rest. I was called up there by my mom who was completely oriented and not elderly, many times. I had to do extra things to get her meds fixed. After fixing that, pain meds not given enough and anxiety meds too often. Call lights would be left on so long that they were still on after she called me needing help to bathroom or being late on meds and I drove 20 mins across town... I took her out 2 days early and she was messed up on medication (not the pain meds, she'd been on those for years). And then a couple days later, she has covid. She was in a private room and not leaving it. It's not just this NH, but so many that are paid by Medicare and well anywhere the residents don't start out rich only to be drained of life savings (and they're not much better). You might have 1 RN and a couple LPNs (who only have time to pass meds the whole shift) and a few nurse assistants for 40+ patients. There's got to be a better way - but there are definitely better nursing homes! I remember seeing a large dining table with covid tests laid out processing on it. And this was not during the height of the pandemic... not even close. Please do your homework and don't just pick a name off a list or go by pictures or activities. Look at the numbers rated by Medicare or government oversight bodies. These guys have higher infection rates, higher hospitalization rates.. sometimes double, compared to the rest of the state. Best of luck to all who are struggling - staff included. This too shall pass.
My father in law received the best care that we as a family could ask for! Nikki make the admission process so easy for us due to everything that was going on in our lives. The therapy team constantly updated us with how he was doing and it was just a great experience and we cannot thank the Pine Tree team enough for all they did for him and us!
My mom is a patient here and has been for quite some time. She is well taken care of and likes it there. Except for the meals. She is really getting tired of bland food and hamburger all the time. Sometimes the food she has described to me is pretty gross sounding. Other than that the nursing staff and nurse aids , house keepers, therapy and social workers have all been great. The place is always clean and does not smell like urine like most nursing homes do. This is actually the first nursing home I have ever been in that didn’t smell like urine.😊
I am currently there as an AIT. During my time at Pine Tree Lodge I have witnessed countless acts of unselfishness that bring the residents joy. Pine Tree Lodge has compassion for care and passion for doing it correctly. Pine Tree Lodge would be a place I would let my parents stay if they needed. I know they would be cared for with heart and expertise. I know that my parents would not return to the hospital because of the caring and professional staff. The Administrator says to take the "smell test" in a SNF. DO IT! The Marketing/Admissions director is so knowledgeable. The DON is to committed to the integrity of safety of the residents and staff. The ADON and Treatment Nurse are like 2 peas in a pod and lead by example. The BOM is one of the smartest and most compassionate people I know. The social worker wears his heart on his sleeve for the residents including following up when released home. He will continue to follow up until he is satisfied that things are going well. The maintenance manager is constantly aware of anything going on and fixes it. The dietary manager is awesome! Pine Tree Lodge is the only facility, that I know of, that serves Certified Angus Beef. The Housekeeping manager is so full of heart. The residents come first and the cleanliness is very good. They deep clean on a rotation and move everything just to ensure the residents have a clean, safe environment. The human resources personnel are available to any and all questions. Very approachable and knowledgeable. The activities include fresh made popcorn and fresh baked cookies. Domino bingo and OH MY!! As you can see it is a wonderful place for residents but staff as well. Did I mention the nurses and direct care staff? I would go to Pine Tree Lodge if I need recovery or if my mom needed a place to stay. I would trust them with my mom !
