I work here and I can definitely say I love being at peaks . The residents are well taken care of. The staff is professional and full of life . The residents are amazing to be around and love doing wonderful activities . If you have any love ones who need to be in a nursing setting peaks is definitely a great place to start . I'm proud to be apart of Peak. The love and companion that is shown daily melts my heart. The team has great relationship with residents and families. Therapy team is amazing and has been providing outstanding rehab to help get residents back into their homes and community. We work hard to assure our residents are being provided the best care, treatment and therapy. Peak Gastonia Team Rocks!!!!
The staff at Peak made my grandmother’s stay a positive experience and provided us with comfort knowing she was safe in their care. Everyone was helpful, welcoming, and pleasant to work with through each step of the journey. Great facility for both rehab and long-term care.
I was very skeptical because of the 2 stars & bad reviews, my mother in law was here for rehab because she broke her ankle. The facility is very clean, there is absolutely no oder that you usually smell in places like this and the staff was super nice. They have different activities planned for every day. We were well pleased!
My mom was there almost a month then past away. I was there one day and she was sitting in a wheelchair. When I got closer I could smell her. I got her cleaned up myself and put her to bed . The following day my mom told me to never do that again. I asked her why and she said they scolded her. I made a complaint and all the manager said was well she told me you abused her and that's why she is here. I wanted to take her out of there but her doctor wanted her to stay because she would get 24 hour Care because I worked.
