I moved to Parkside 2 months ago and have been delighted by the sense of community that the management and residents have created here. Our activities director, Jill, goes out of her way to cheerfully provide opportunities that help to connect our residents whether it's just going grocery shopping together, going out to lunch at nearby restaurants, or arranging for trips to the Art Museum or other cultural activities. I've also been so pleased at how responsive the management has been to questions and concerns that residents have presented. I know that I feel more secure knowing the response I will receive if I bring a request to them. In only 2 months, I feel very much at home here.
I moved to Parkside in September’23 to a one bedroom from an “independent living” facility where I was very unhappy. Parkside offered just what I wanted and needed-safety, a clean fresh apartment, with all the amenities I was looking for, plus neighbors who I could interact with and who are friendly. There are lots of activities led by Jill, our tireless Activities Director, who drives the bus that takes us shopping and offsite to outings, lunches, etc. Staff Dave, Brent, Gabby, Brittany and Pat are attentive to maintenance needs and other requests. I recently switched from a one bedroom to a two bedroom ( because as an artist I really needed a room just for my “art stuff”) and staff were extremely supportive in helping me make that transition a smooth one. I highly recommend Parkside to Seniors looking for an affordable and pleasant place to live.
I've been living here almost 8 years. I live in a beautiful setting in the back of the building. I can see Pickleball and a park. It's quiet and clean. I have no problems and I love living here. The other residents are so nice and have become like family!
I have been a resident for three years. Í feel safe and enjoyed getting to know my neighbors. There are many activities you can participate in if you like. I rode the bus that take you to nearby. Shopping places for the first time. I was satisfied with the experience. My work orders have been completed in s timely manner. I don't plan to move.
