A wonderful experience at Park Vista Rehabilitation Center. They took the time to answer any questions that I had. Nurses Faunda, Jerry, Amanda and Chelsie were excellent in their field. Each one added their own special touch to my recovery process. Special shout out to Aides Tracy and Tlicia. The Therapy department also contributed to my well-being. The strengthening exercises made me stronger each day. Thank you, I am well on my way to a complete recovery.

I have been in several rehab facilities but none compares to Park Vista. The people who work there are good at their job and everyone has a smile on their face. I have grown to love them. The physical therapists occasional therapists. Everyone from the top to the bottom are wonderful ! Everyone involved with your care everyone who is involved with your progress are wingless angels here upon this earth. I would recommend Park Vista to anyone. They have a phenomenal staff. And the food is. awesome God bless you Park Vista ! I love you May you continue to grow ! May you continue to be the wonderful people who you are. Continue to spread your love !
We've all heard of the war stories coming from Nursing Homes and Rehab facilities. I was one of those people that believed all the stories and even had some stories come from family members from around the country including Puerto Rico where my family is from. Needless to say Park Vista is not like any of those other places that don't care. If anything, they have gone above and beyond with the little they have and still manage to give the care of double and triple the staff they have. My father Felix Perez was first sent to them for rehab late 2023 (I wanna say September) for physical therapy and occupational therapy after spending almost a week in the hospital for a bad seizure and again every 2-3 months for the same reason reason. Dad had a history of seizures and this place still treated him like a person, not a number. Never in my life have I heard of Management from the higher ups roll up their sleeves to get into the trenches with their staff yet at Park Vista I was constantly seeing management from different departments helping out the nursing staff, cleaning staff, maintenance staff, kitchen staff, just everywhere and with a level of respect for not only the patients but as well for the employees who were the face of the Nursing Home. Every time dad went in there was a level of respect and rapport built with the entirety of the staff and my father as well as the other patients and residents of Park Vista. Everyone had a smile and loved doing their work. I still remember showing up one night when they lost power because some crashed and hit a main line on a power pole and they had their backup generators take over for main power for the lights and they had fans and mobile ac units all over the floors to make sure everyone stayed cool and fresh until the electricity company was able to come out the following day to fix the issue. Constant activities for the patients and residents as well as birthday celebrations were had. Park Vista should be the mold used to train all other facilities around the country. I have absolutely nothing bad to say. Even when it came time to make the decision to have dad placed there as a permanent resident after his worst seizure combined with a stroke this past April the staff and management made the process so simple. They asked for a few pieces of information and they took care of the rest. Affordable as can be as I was expecting a high number for dads monthly bill to stay there and yet when switched to permanent resident there with the same services it was covered by Medicaid and what wasn't covered was paid by dads social security monthly check and dad still had plenty of money left over to buy whatever he wanted or needed. Unfortunately I had to place dad on hospice care about 3 weeks ago (give or take a few days) and even then Park Vista helped me through the process and looked for a perfect Hospice company to take care of dad in his final days. Heartland Hospice along with Park Vista made sure that dad was more than comfortable in his last days here on Earth as he just passed away on the 4th of July. If you're worried about the negative reviews that this place has had in the past I will tell you that even I read them and was skeptical about leaving dad here but the experience of seeing what I saw in person was almost magical like a Disney movie with the accuracy, respect, care, and loyalty not only for each other as staff or the patients/residents but for the industry as a whole. Please, come here yourself and ask for a tour of the location, speak with management, let them know your situation, and I can guarantee that you won't want to look elsewhere if you have to place a loved one in their care.
My stay here was a wonderful experience. The staff is well trained and caring. Every need was met well beyond expectation or need.
This review is about my time here with the below cna's i had who personally cared for me Kim, Cle, and Tae treated me with the upmost respect they took care of me the most on day shift and Melissa and Shayla were all very good but I didn't see them as the others. On night shift if I got Adrienne or Tracie or Sherilli I get good care. But I will say night shift I had more trouble with I don't know if it's because of my size or something else. The nurses Emily,Bernice, and Renee is nights always took care of my needs and always received my medication can't always says that about other night nurses but as for the ones mentioned above I love them like family. And now I'm home after being told since April I was getting out of there here is the rest of my review as far as PARK VISTA goes they are all about the money and really not about the care of the people it took them from April 9th til the state was coming in May to fix my curtain rods i need the ac fixed because my room was hot I had to let the window open to stay cool and the nurse call button didn't work most of the time I aways had to call the desk to get connected to rehab 2 to get the nurse or aid because the light didn't work it wasn't there fault maintenance didn't fix it. The aids are short staffed because they would rather not have enough aids to care for the people they say don't have enough patients to were they need only a aid and a float between floors but don't let them work as an example there was only one aid one day on my floor and she was helping the nurse with an emergency well my oxygen hose fall out and was on the floor because wasn't an aide I had to try to find help because I'm on oxygen 24/7 and my oxygen plummet fast well no one answered the front desk I call my cousin in the medical part of pv and she got someone to run over from her side to help me which was about 15 minutes and no aids on my side not enough aids. But went I hear different staff talking they just can't keep up because they got to do this and that for someone and Jason tells them they have enough help with just a float between floors. You don't have enough staff aids to properly care for patients but you need more aids on both shifts and nurses who care about the people everyone needs to feel cared for not like a number going through the checkout line. Because without enough help you don't have time beside being like the checkout line. Please put your self in a bed they and be a patient for a week see how you head workers in the office would see there problems when they was on the patient side view they would find there short falls and what's needing fixed if you guys would just improve a few things it wouldn't be to bad here. And the food has improved from when I first got there. So as far as pt and ot they did nothing me the aids who cared for me did more therapy wise when I was getting bathed and set in the chair then the therapy team did they didn't listen to anything I said of suggested to them they should even have been paid for the therapy they said I received. BUT MY LAST WORDS ARE THIS ADRIENNE, KIM, TRACIE, AND SHRILLI are your best assets to Park Vista when it comes to care giving and they aren't young and if you don't find better younger aides besides Tae and Clee and Melissa and a few others i remember faces not names if you don't get some good aids Park Vista will keep going down hill. Put yourself in my shoes as a former patient.
