After moving out of a rough neighborhood apartment, I was relieved to find refuge in Palm Island. This place is truly amazing! The first thing that caught my attention was the stunning landscape, with palm trees and a variety of plants lining the pathways throughout the facility. The entire place is warm, inviting, and impeccably clean. The amenities offered are top-notch, including a beautiful swimming pool and jacuzzi, a gym, game room, library, and computer center. There are also plenty of activities planned to keep residents busy, such as bingo, line dancing, karaoke, and more. The apartments are well-maintained and any issues are promptly addressed. The manager, Delmy, is always welcoming and takes the time to greet residents by name and ensure their satisfaction. Edith, who guided me through the entire leasing process, was incredibly patient and kind. And if you ever have a question or need something done, Andrew is the go-to guy. Overall, Palm Island is a perfect place for retirement and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable living experience.

I have lived here for many years. There are many reasons why I continue to reside here. First is the price. Every year I did my due diligence and looked for a cheaper apartment. I never found a better place for the price! You can find apartments cheaper but the location is undesirable, the grounds are terrible and the office management is seriously lacking. Palm Island living is like living in a resort. I look out my patio door to a beautiful pool, palm trees erywhere, top of the line patio furniture, barbeques that are kept clean every day!! The grounds are manicured daily. The walkways are relaxing and perfect for dog walking or exercise. The maintenance is on top of anything you might need fixing. There are daily activities, party's, exercise classes and on and on. So much to do if you want. The pool is heated year round and is salt water. The jacuzzi is wonderful too! There is an elevator to all the floors as well. We are moving into the Grand Caymen later this month. They have vaulted ceilings on the third floor and beautiful green belts between the buildings. The management has been so helpful, especially Luis! He has made our transition to our new apartment so easy! He's great and we really appreciate all of your help! It is expensive to live in Orange County but rest assured, Palm Island is the best property for the money! Resort living every day!!
The building in Huntington Beach where my mother has lived for the past 25 years, was suddenly sold and she was given 60 days to vacate. As I live in New York, it was a very intense moment to try to help figure things out from across the country. I called approximately 10 to 12 adult living complexes in Orange County, the majority of the phone calls were brief and vague, with some referring me to the website, and some not returning my call at all. When I spoke with David at Palm Island, everything was different; his tone, his manner, his professionalism, and especially his kindness were evident (and much appreciated) throughout our informative and detailed phone call. David referred me to his colleague Luis, who was superb, Luis was helpful, friendly and detailed throughout the process of renting the apartment, he sent me photos and videos and helped me find the right unit for my mom. I sent my mom and aunt to see the apartment a few days after our initial call and he gave her a tour of the grounds and made her feel very welcome. The following week I flew out and helped my mom pack, furnish her new apartment, and get her settled in. I needed to have quite a few boxes of furniture delivered prior to her move-in date and Luis made sure that all of the boxes were safely put into her apartment so that I could have a contractor come over and assemble everything prior to her move-in date. All of this went smoothly and swimmingly with great assistance from the team at Palm Island. My mother is now installed and incredibly happy. She likes the people, the vibe, the energy and her neighbors. The most importantly, she feels comfortable and happy in her new apartment! Also, huge thanks to Delmy for her exuberant and friendly welcome!
My wife and I have lived at Palm Island for 2 months, So I am reviewing as a new resident. Most importantly, I would like to point out the exceptional staff here, Especially Leasing Agent Manuel. A highly professional and very friendly gentleman. He met with us and was quick to understand our specific needs as I expressed them to him. He was able to give us a very personalized tour of the properties. As he quickly realized, we had special needs. He was able to accommodate those needs and go well beyond our expectations before we began an almost effortless contractual process. He responded immediately when we had a challenging dilemna during the first month we were there. I would also like to point out the landscaping done by Geronimo. He keeps the area beautiful and looking like a tropical Island. Other amenities that we have participated in are: monthly craft classes, exercise room, $5 lunch, and an unexpected card game among others. In the 2 months we have lived here, we have met numerous friendly people. And our Golden Retriever has become a somewhat of a celebrity. Other dogs are well behaved and are always under careful control. I don't plan on moving as this is the place for us to retire and enjoy after a combined 65 years of teaching.
I just moved in, well one month to be exact and the place looks great and wow all the amenities, the people in the front office are fantastic with the exception of head manager, I ask her for help with the web site trying to pay rent and she told me to get a money order, well I figured it out myself, so no big deal, hope to see everyone in the pool, bye!
